You are awsome. I just order my akx110 from thomann. These videos is very usefull for every owner of this machine,especcialli for me. I own Ketron audya but this machine is a mirracle for the money,i will perform with it on "small" gigs.
What exactly did you expect? Admittedly, it's a pity that you still can't change the instruments in song mode. But this should come with the next update. You should also keep in mind that China and Hong Kong still have very strict quarantines. Many people have been at home in the home office for 1 month. Of course, this also delays development. The fact that the style mode has now been completely opened is already a very big step. And so Medeli with the AKX10 is superior to any Yamaha PSR, which can only be programmed in CM7. Thanks for all your efforts, did you notice when you hold the 61 keys of a Yamaha or Korg against the Medeli. The Medeli is 1 key narrower, meaning that each key on the Medeli is about 1/60th narrower, I find it makes it easier to play octaves, 9ths and 10ths. And I think it is an advantage for the Medeli, but others might find it to be a design flaw.
Cool fact. I haven't actually noticed that yet. I just measured. Medeli AKX10: 82.5cm. Korg Pa1000/Krome EX 84.2cm. In fact, I prefer playing the Medeli's keyboard. I don't have big hands either, maybe that's why.
interesting I just measured many of my keyboards, most are 7/8ths of an inch wide the only keys I found 1/16th of an inch wider were the sequential prophet 10, and the Hydrasynth. the AKX10 is the same width as all of my rolands (jupiter 6,jx3p,system 8, jdxa,) and my rhodes stage 88.
I have an older Korg PA800. I would like to replace it, but there is nothing in the Korg lineup that I currently can afford. The PA1000 is the 'entry level' for this, and I really wanted a PA4X 76, and now, when it comes out the PA5X 76. But, can't afford them right now. The AKX10 seems to be a very nice, if nothing else, companion to my PA800. There are a couple of dealers for it here in the U.S. so I can get one. I thank you for your videos on the keyboard.

I did exactly as the instruction come with the soft ware file.pdf , I copy the .FUP in USB .When the update complete & It booth up my key board , then my key board R1 R2 R3 do not have sound . I check the MIXER CONSOLE volume all 3 are 100 % . & GLOBLE ULTILITY -1 -SPEAKER IS ALWAY ON .But the R1R2R3 are still no sound . Any setting do I need to do for getting the R1R2R3 have sound . my old firm ware is V1.2.7 . ( I did go back my old v1.2.7 it is the same problem . now my key board have no sound R1R2R3 . Please help. )
With my AKX10 the octaves are exactly at the right spot, like my Korg Pa1000 and Krome EX. If this causes you any trouble, you should ask Medeli about that: www.medeli.com.hk/contact-us You can easily switch Octaves by pressing Buttons. Together with [Shortcut+] you can easily change all R1-3 voices at once.
1.There is no MIDI OUT (notes) for DRUM TRACK and for some other tracks like BASS and ACC. Also for SONG PLAY there is no MIDI OUT. There is no OPTION to set up what midi ch is going to MIDI OUT. 2.There is no way to change instrument on any track during the live performance. Only way is to go to the STYLE EDIT and then STYLE stops working. So there is no way to change something during live performance and SAVE it. 3.There is no ADVANCED option like on KORG PA4X for CHORD RECOGNITION.ADVANCED is when you press just one note then no CHORD is played. ALL instruments will play just one note.
I'm not sure what you mean. But in the global settings, MIDI I/O, you can tap "Out" and then assign each channel to points R1-R3 and Pad-Pad4. From none to 16. These would then have to be routed outwards. Maybe you try it out.
1 other question and if it doesn't exist how to we request from Medili. In Yamaha SX900 the song or midi record section looks similar in the Medeli it seems when you record you have no way of starting Part way through but only at very start of song. Also a record punch in punch out I don't see. For example you record a track say channel 6 but you make a mistake at bar 4 through 6 it would be good to punch in so it only record from bar 4 and stops record at bar 6.
You can start the metronome by pressing the start/stop button and start recording with the RECORD button shown on the screen. Please refer to the manual at Page 68. After you hit RECORD it stays in START mode and waits for the first note to play.If you hit START the recording begins and you can start anywhere you like. Nice vlog! Based on this and your earlier video‘s i bought a AKX10. I’ve downloaded some midi files on a Flashdrive and I can let them play on the medeli. However I wonder how i can revoice the instruments in the midi songs. Is that possible? And do I change the Instruments in the AKX10 or in the midi on a PC?
I’m a guitar player and this is my first attempt to play piano/ keyboard. I think I’ve found a nice workaround though. Directly from the flash drive the AKX10 sounds odd but if I play the same midi in GarageBand it sound awesome. So what I did is connect the AKX to my Mac and played the midi in GarageBand. Garage band recognized the AKX10 and played the midi on the AKX. IT IS AMAZING!!!!!
Does the Medeli AKX10 read MIDI files? In other words can you import a midi file created in another program like EZ Drummer and build a style in the AKX10 around that imported MIDI file? Similiar to all of the Korg PA's.
Hi Jeff I‘ve downloaded some free midi files on a USB stick and I could play them as a song on the AKX10. However I could not change the instruments. It seems the expectation from many that this becomes possible in the future.

I want to be able to program my own drum tracks using MIDI files from another program as it is much easier, and more accurate than recording hits using the keyboard. Change a few MIDI notes and you get variations and fills using the same drum track.

Actually you need few specialised software, recording audio, creating samples and loops in samples, then packing everything as an sf2 as working with the GS2 is not very convenient. It was all done in Redmatica Keymap Pro, however Apple bought the brand and killed the software. It is a shame as there is nothing else on this planet that works as Keymap Pro did. Actually it still works, I bought it 10 years ago and run it in virtual machine.
Hi Musik .Opp!! Today I turn keyboard back , It has same problem R1R2R3 have no sound and AUTO shut off does not work after certain time setting. Do you have any problem when you update v01.03.07 ?
@@gb3496 So far in order for using my keyboard I have to reset to ( factory setting ) every time I turn it on . I did contact Medeli tech support there is no respond yet .
@@gb3496 On May/04/Medeli support give me advise to reset factory setting , but it does not work as I said above , after turn back on it is the same way. today 5/20/22 I Found more problem . the PHRASE PADS DOES NOT as it used to be . It only play C Major key no matter what phrase pad style selected .
I don't expect any problems. Just tried. Save the user sound and then save it from USER tu USB. Maybe your USB Stick is not in FAT32 format? Try reformating it inside the keyboard and try again.

That of course depends of the stock at the warehouse. But mostly you have to upgrade the firmware. But it is really simple.

They have silently updated the expansion pack. No need to merge with the older one. All previous styles included.
