Yes I have 2 sets of the QLS and took them off! I forgot my holster in the gun safe after standing guard on a suspect in the interigation room. I had to come back for it!!! LoL! My Lt. Was teasing about it. He said we all for got our guns at one point Doug! My second set was for my SWAT duty belt! It's a Condor belt with the Cobra buckle!
Great video bro, what is your best place you have worked as a security guard? Mine was a water treatment plant, really enjoyed it , was a 16 hour shift, some parts of it was warm from all the machines, and others were cold because of it being winter and the water from Lake huron was super cold, had to watch to make sure I didn't touch some things that would take my fingers off or set off alarms, stay safe out there brother
@@OfficerAjax Dam no oc spray I use my since 1995 when I got on and still have a can on my duty belt?! I have my taser on my armor vest with 2 M 4 511 soft mag pouches.
Hey, What do you call the Belt connection plate that you are attaching the QLS too no one talks about the part the belt loop goes through?? (The thing your disconnecting your holster from)
Weird question, how do you know which of the pieces of the hardware to use for the fork set and the receiver set? The little female ends with the sharp parts that go into the receiver plate, do you use the big ones or the small ones? I just got one and I’m trying to figure it out but there’s no good directions with it.
@@gage-money just use which ever one’s fit the best it will more than likely make little difference. I have used hardware that’s not even meant for the holster and qls before
my provided Allan key won't fit the provided screws. Just keeps turning and stripping the top where you need to fit the tool into to turn the damn things.
They will work with some manufacturers such as trexarms holsters. However it is always best to ask the manufacturer before purchasing the holster you want to add the qls kit to. Some companies such as Blackhawk, aliengear and comp-Tac have adapter plates that you can buy to add the qls kit.
Only a recommendation, when you do a video, might be wise to do the application first. Break the holster apart and do the actual video. Somewhat loses something stumbling through the application of the product. Watch your 6👍
I’ve been a cop for 32 years and I cringe when I see ammo pouches on the same side as the gun. Switch to the weak side and your speed, and precision will be immediately improved.
Do you use a Safariland QLS kit?

What screws did you use for your mount for your tourniquet? Obviously the screws sent with the locking system will be to short.
I used the provided screws.
@@OfficerAjax it’s in the way. The screws didn’t look long enough. Since it worked for you I’ll keep the faith
Nice system, nice duty belt set up! No oc spray pouch or radio pouch, or light pouch?!!
We don’t carry oc anymore and the radio and light are on my vest

@@arnaldifero1 that’s great man, just make sure you know what the department allows officers to carry before you spend lots of money on gear.
Thanks for the video! Stay safet!
the longer screws are meant to be used with their t-spacer
I need this. Hate that the Blackhawk holster sits above the belt line
its a great upgrade!
What are the things called inside your holster that catch the screws you put in the fork called?

It’s a Safariland ubl mid ride with a qls system attached.

If you are referring as to what length screw to use, I have used small and long ones with little to no issues. Hope this helped.
@@OfficerAjax the parts that sit in the receiver plate that you put the long/short screws into is what I meant. Too bad I can’t post a picture lmao

Does the attachment screw into other holsters that are not safariland?

I do these vids on TikTok now and these changes have been implemented for over a year. Thank you for the constructive criticism
does the QLS kit alone allow for a neutral cant or is the CUBL & QLS needed to achieve a 0* draw?
You can modify your own pretty easily with a file
which holster will work for fn 5.7

I do not carry my mags on my dominate side lol.
It’s for his taser so I’m assuming that’s why it’s on the mag side
