WhatS the point on doing CBT if you do not automatise the procedure. With all the profits you get by putting up the MPS, this should be resolved asap. It is insane to do an online test and wait 2 months for the mark!!! Really. INSANE.
@@parasapan No... It's not the case bro.... Bcz for L1, if someone failed then I think he can't appear earlier then 6 months..... So as now it's 4 times a year, the student will have to apply for the next to next attempt... As in the immediate next attempt the time of 6 months is not passed...
Couldn't agree more. I've said since I started the program a couple of years back that CFA was stuck in the last century. And they still are if they think their recent changes are somehow catching up- they are utterly deluded. There is simply no justification for this process taking as long as it does in this day and age, absolutely none. This should all be wrapped up within a couple of weeks. And don't get me started on the lack on transparency and consistency... It's time for us an industry to move away from this certification. It will happen naturally I think and hope as one thing I find is that the time spent studying for the exam is a significant amount of time that could more effectively be spent getting good at your job.
The questions and correct answers should be made public since the learning ecosystem has too many errors at each level.. this way a candidate can actually verify his/ her answer and mark the rest process as review!!!
This answer is very dissatisfying. It's a computer based, multiple choice exam. Most of the time to grade the exam, it seems, is about making sure the questions were correct and the grading software is working properly.... shouldn't this be a lock before the exam is disseminated?
So unreasonably slow process. The quality of the questions should be prepared prior to the exam, and since the exam is multiple choice it should be clear if the if the answer is right or wrong. So results should be immediately available a few minutes utes after the exam is over.
there is no reason to having to wait for several weeks to get feedback on the exam results... I am guessing at least they could give some sort of feedback immediately once the multiple choice section is submitted (I have heard other certifications would show the probability of passing based on the previous years MPS). This way candidates could actually plan ahead on what their next project will be (taking the next lvl, retaking the exam, etc).
Grading is extremely unfair. Almost all graders are new graders with zero, one or two years of experience. Some graders are from prep programs and have zero interest in grading itself.
Or we could get the results instantly like with hundreds of other test providers. This is nothing more than a convoluted justification for path dependency from an organization stuck in the past.
Imagine just two dozen CFA Charterholder decides what the MPS should be for like 1000's of candidate.....do they give that exam to truely know the toughness ? or just decide by looking question.

The answer is simple - Declare the results after early bird date and get extra money for it.

Why are you charging GST on the fees for Indian students? Since the fees is charged for education, it’s not liable to GST.
