Undercity sounds cool. The dark citadel is gonna be a pass for me because people….that being said tho I’m glad they are giving that option to people that like that type of gameplay.
10:00 I disagree. The fun of an ARPG is getting the right gear. Gearing up a mercenary would just add to that. Not being able to gear them up makes them feel less of something that I control or that belongs to me and more like a visual passive skill.
nope I hated d2 mercenary because it is literally useless before you get good gear. Half the time they're just infinity fodder, or Amp damage fodder. Super boring and dumb.

In terms of stat squish I believe it’s more about server health. Less calculation means less lag.

I completely agree. I would rather the Mercs have gear.
