For everyone wondering why you can't hear much of the audience: Its a german thing. When the music is acoustic the people are silent and listen. Its our form of showing respect. If the crowd gets loud here it means they are distracted and don't care that much. :)
It's interesting how different things can be from one country to the next. In the United States, We lose our minds and scream like raving lunatics... to show our appreciation :-)

Most acoustic songs have much more atmosphere and are Not as loud as full set. It’s way better to enjoy the band and their music instead of the some guys next to you singing along but out of tune.

The power, emotion, and range of Elize has tears rolling down my cheeks. Stunning. Metal is so fortunate to have such a singer.
Nils is so talented..he sounds really great!

What a TRIP!!! Never heard Elize or Amaratnhe so RAW and CLEAR... Classic Hard rock voices..especially Elize. DAMN FREAKING FANTASTIC!!!!

Elize- pop, symphonic metal
Nils- Power metal, symphonic metal, neo- classical metal
Henrik- Death metal, metalcore, melodic death Metal
combine those together we get Amaranthe
Vocalists' singing style has nothing to do with the band's genre. They've already proved it.
@@esaedvik really? how? because the style is so obvious there... everyone has a a distinct style he or she is focused on! plus this band's genre is diverse because of these vocalists and instrumentals
@@yesh6545 The bands genre wouldn't really change if they fired any 2 of the 3 vocalists. It's just lazy to make boxes like that. Most do it just to bash Elize though (not saying you did that) as a "pop" singer, which she definitely isn't.
Just because the melodies are catchy and you can understand the lyrics, doesn't mean it's "pop". Like if they had only Alissa White-Gluz on clean vocals, literally no one would call the band or her "pop".
@@esaedvik I'm not bashing on Elize, i'm just complimenting her style, i forgot to add power metal there too, because Her vocal are definitely pop on some song.. for example, "limitless" , or the first verse on "dream" , the fact she adds layers of vocal which sound like tricks all female pop stars does and nils doesn't, because nils does power metal prominently. i'm not saying it's bad but i'm saying it's good because of the fact she only can represent that style in amaranthe! and also she has a good vocal range! And I like nils voice in the song "unified" and he sang it well on the acoustic version too, you can definitely get that power metal/symphonic metal vibes from him... if you don't uderstand what i'm saying i can't do anything for you
@@yesh6545 It still doesn't make any sense though, why would you describe a vocal style as being 'symphonic'?? What makes a voice symphonic? What makes a symphonic voice different to any other? It has nothing to do with a symphony, you might as well just throw random words out like, "ahh man, she has such a string-quartet voice" or a "dubstep voice". I honestly don't get why people obsess over putting everything into these silly categories.

What a great concert, it touched my heart. You, guys, are really great, gifted and talented... I love your vibes and positive mood, Elize. You're always happy, smiling and giving light wherever you go. These were the best spent 28 minutes of my whole live
Wow Amazing, and so varied - Elize you are a monstrously good singer, rain or shine, heat or chill, colds or coughs you keep on singing.
Elize makes my heart melt every time. I would love to see her on a live platform that has good audio quality like BBC Radio or something.

It's really sad we don't have more quality live recordings of them like this, my god, they're so fucking great! I knew Elize from the famous nightwish concert-gone-wrong in EUA, but just a month ago I started listening to Amaranth and I'm in love! They absolutely fucking rock!!!! I started listening because of Elize, but Nils is equally awesome, they work soooo well together, the one that growls (I don't know his name) is not to be underapreciated as well. The three of them together is the best thing ever. Love you Amaranth!

Omg... astonighing how those songs become so diferent and still so interesting, and i am a not even a singer, im a drummer.
2:20 I say "That was a loud a-PAW" to my dog when he runs into the room fast. He has no idea of course that I created my version to suit him, from this video. I've probably said it somewhere near 100 times since first seeing this video. It also makes me smile, so thank you for that. Also, just today the song 'Crystalline' really hit me. I always use 'Burn With Me' when testing loudspeakers. This is going to be my new song of choice. Really great tune.

Imo its no fault by the audience (i HATE when people are fake...dont applaud if you don't feel it dont tip high if the service doesn't warrant it dont say its good when it isn't etc)...but these songs aren't very acoustic worthy. Does not sound right. They are singing ok the guitar is very good just not acoustic songs.
To be honest I hate when people make noise in a setting like this and is harder to hear them
