I think it would be a pretty fun bike if the chassis and suspension are correctly tuned.... kind of like a sumo, but with enough power. Though I don't really see how this would have any kind of advantage over a MT09 or MT10. With those tires it isn't going off asphalt.
Really wish KTM had kept this model in the same vein as the 990 SMT. That bike offered practicality as it wasn't excessive (ala the 1290 SMT) and called to me. This one? Not so much.
I'm thinking sport tourer , but with that ground clearance and a change of tires, a very good scrambler ?
Dry sump to save weight or wet sump? Lower seat -cool. Super Moto Bagger 😂

Yea always a delicate balancing act in that regard, I think I'd probably go an 890 Duke or 890 ADV over one of these personally.
