I felt the real villain in this was Scott Borchetta - That he offered her an outright purchase deal is new to me, but my previous understanding is he offered the deal that kept her enslaved to the label to get the masters back - and then when she didn't take it sold it to Scooter without offering it to Taylor in a fair bidding war. Maybe it changes things if she was offered the outright purchase - unless it was an insanely high non-realistic offer. Scooter seems mostly screwed over - but his sin was when working with Taylor, his stipulations were that she could not perform any of the music on the masters at concerts -- which ultimately is why we have the ERAs tour now because that contract period expired letting her now sing it. The whole thing to me seems like Borchetta is a greedy POS and everything else is just fall out from it.

@@willwatchmoments You are wrong. I am very very new to TAYLOR swift, and I do NOT consider myself a swifty, but I am pleasantly surprised by her music. So I was interested in what this video had to say. But my PATIENCE wore thin. Give me something to chew on. Nope. Nothing. Nada.
