So when you power wash, are you actually removing a small layer of wood off the surface? I know paint sits ontop but stain is soaked into the wood. So to remove old stain, you would need to remove a small layer of wood correct? But I guess this wood wasn't ever stained, only sealed? As the original color is quite nice. So you were mostly just removing a layer of dirt and algae?
1 to 1-1/2hrs I think. This took me 30-40mns and it’s about 50ft. (sorry, previous reply was from my son’s acct, if you didn’t notice just disregard 😎👍🏼)
I did look into “30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner”, the thing is so good it scares me, it maybe safe on lawns but I’m just not comfortable using it. and yes fewer chemicals in my yard the better.
Two sides to a fence. This side is now clean and ready for any prep work for sealant/stain etc. Any thoughts about making the fence last longer by washing both sides?
@@LorenzoHenriquez that’s crazy, that’s too much, it would only cost you 70 dollars per panel. they sell this at home depot and lowe’s for 5 dollars per board so that’s 14 board per panel equivalent to 70.
Bass is fucking KILLER. Excellent video, audio andvisual.

Thank you for making a brief video and not a 2-3 part series of 30 minute videos..
Did you apply a cleaner first or did you just do straight water?
No, Just water
What kind of psi would you recommend 1400 psi or 2700 psi for fence cleaning
How long would it take you to do a 100ft long fence about this old?

@@ShortCutLawn thanks!! 1-1½ hours per side or for the whole fence on each side?
Just one side. It’s very time consuming, I might try 30seconds Outdoor Cleaner next time.
For presherwashing does it need to be hot/warm water or jus cold
No, cold tap water is fine.
Can I power wash my fence after it rained almost whole day?
Perfect video, clean edit. Keep pushing it to the limit
Thanks 👍🏼
Thanks for keeping the video short.
Assuming you didn’t want to use any chemicals? 30 Seconds outdoor cleaner works great against wooden fences and any exterior wall of your home.

Would you recommend using any kind of detergent? I plan on doing my father in laws fence that is also 30 years old.
I think soap/detergent is just going to make it messy, pressure washer should be good enough.
Just this to a friends fence, takes awhile but it is rewarding labor.
I hope you’ve upgraded your pressure washer to something much bigger by this point like a 4,200psi 4.4gpm washer
We don’t need to upgrade just because there’s something better out there, if what you have works for what you need it for then so be it.
Looks fantastic!
Thanks 👍🏼

Looks great!
What pressure tip did you use?
Thanks 👍🏼 Cone shape/turbo nozzle
why did he not claen the white stones and deck too ?
Uhhhh, it’s a fence video¿
Very very nice... What pressure does your PW use? I'm going to buy one just for this but I don't want to go too high or too low
The machine is rated at 1700psi, it’s more than enough to do the job 👍🏼
CaeseLaVerga
great video!
Huge improvement!
Have you stained your fence yet? If not you might want to try Ready Seal I recently did mine in Natural Cedar came out 👌 your lawn looks great.
And I'm just here wondering what kind of wood this fence is made of. Thirty years and it's still standing solid. Impressive.
I believe it’s Redwood.
@@ShortCutLawn nice, thanks. It looks really good. Almost impossible to get something like this nowadays without having to spend +$400 per panel 😅

@@briansotto2251 that's not how it works but OK.
@@briansotto2251 I priced a fence 3 days ago. 10 years ago, $3000.
3 days ago, same fence, no add-ons, $8750…………
Wow, what a difference! Did that leave it in good enough shape to stain?
Surprisingly yes, so I might do it later this year.
Hey man! how long did it take you to pressure wash this section?
30-40mns.
Nice work!
Great video!!
Hey... You missed a spot
It’s not good to pressure wash wood fence. It splits gets mildewey and weak
Might be easier to watch without all that loud music.
Looks in amazing condition for a 30 years fence
Right
I feel satisfied 👍👍👍
Please tell me that was fake grass because it was just too perfect not to be.
lol..😂🤫
