He says he learned to answer 'how' questions with 'why' answers. So, she's basically saying "How can you do that? It's impossible?" and he's responding as if she was saying "Why does it look that way?" He's a master at making people go in circles like this.
I love magic like this, that lets adults be children again, even if just for a moment, they allow themselves to live in this wonderful world were seemingly anything is possible.
I love how the old lady says “that’s the wildest thing I’ve ever seen!” before anything has actually happened. Literally just a piece of fabric being reeled in to a box and she’s absolutely mind blown by it. In fact, she was kinda floored the moment he used the word “bespoke”. Poor lady probably replies to spam emails. 🤣
A length of cloth being dragged through a slit was the wildest thing the mom had ever seen. Michael could have stopped there. Some people are very easily pleased.
Not the fact that she has an iPhone. It's their terrible acting and purposeful cheats toward the camera that give it away. Calculated blocking, perfect pauses and dialogue timing, etc...
I honestly believe there's a real lesson to be learned form Michael, and it applies in all sorts of areas in life -- but especially in the mainstream media. Use your brain and pay attention to the actual content, not so much the presentation. Think about how much of an effect news pundits have on you just for carrying themselves with gravitas inside a suit. That in itself is enough to convince most people. It's an eye-opener.
Mom: ..and I think about all the hours I spent on a sewing machine..haha! Daughter(thinking): mom, please don't remind me. That was embarrassing wearing home made clothes to school.
LOL. If B.S was ten cents a truck load, Michael could sell out and become a millionaire! I guess it’s true, there’s a sucker born everyday! He made this whole thing up and was so convincing, I almost believed it.😂
People can fall for anything. Imagine if there was a fear of harm and that intensifies. Like you may pass away if you don't do a certain thing. As well as those you encounter.
Um... they already feature 3d-printed outfits in fashion shows and some manufacturers have even included 3d-printed parts in shoes and the like. It's not mainstream yet, but you could get one today if you really wanted.
@@HerculesBallsInc eh, what this shows and what 3D Printing is capable of are pretty far off. I do agree we’ll probably get there but it’s not exactly the same yet.
Not to take anything away from him as a magician, but the real talent here is not cracking a smile while the people react to the trick! I don't know how he holds it together in these scenes...
+Moneygetjealous She said that as the fabric went into the "machine"... she hadn't seen anything come out of that yet hahah that's why that sentence was so funny... 2:17
Chris B Yeah, I just discovered this show through a forum (I am from Spain and here it is not famous) and I am in a binge-watch right now. That sentence and Michael's "It's a little baggy, I know, sorry..." make this one pure gold xD
+deestraw Haha yes - he's a good actor. It's not famous here in England either, but thanks to the internet, there are lots to watch. I have been binge watching too and I must admit, some of these really make me laugh!
"No, that can't be."
"It's a little baggy, I know. I'm sorry."
I love the whole ignoring how impossible the tricks are shtick.
He says he learned to answer 'how' questions with 'why' answers. So, she's basically saying "How can you do that? It's impossible?" and he's responding as if she was saying "Why does it look that way?" He's a master at making people go in circles like this.
Answering how with why is really hard to do on the spot. It's amazing.
Low key, sass, lmao!
Yes, that's one of my favorite parts of these bits.
Reminds me of that one time I fapped in Walmart.
Seriously he is amazing. And his BSing skills with words are unreal.
I know this was 2 years ago but im just now watching it...but i agree. his bs skills are great! LOL!
Would make a good con man as well!
Once you watch one Carbonaro effect video, prepare to watch 10 more

''And I think of the hours I spent on my sewing machine!'' Haha.
poor old lady, she was so happy, is like us seeing the playstation 10 for first time
HAHA so true
Do you mean the PlayStation 9 commercial that aired on TV in 2001?
Seeing the people's reaction to learning of the Carbonaro Effect is mt favorite part of the clips. When it is not included, I feel left hanging.
Swiss clock maker and a french tailor!
+Sawknit Srestha You can't go wrong with such a team
+Sawknit Srestha Michael is such a master of Pseudoscience
+sasawedx Telling wild stories is not pseudoscience because its not even science lol
Best BS line ever!!
Bullshitdoo master
"it's a little baggy, I know, I'm sorry" 🤣
I love magic like this, that lets adults be children again, even if just for a moment, they allow themselves to live in this wonderful world were seemingly anything is possible.
The real magic here is Michael’s ability to make nonsense sound legit.
This dude spins some tall tales
I love how the old lady says “that’s the wildest thing I’ve ever seen!” before anything has actually happened. Literally just a piece of fabric being reeled in to a box and she’s absolutely mind blown by it. In fact, she was kinda floored the moment he used the word “bespoke”. 'And I think of the hours I spent on my sewing machine!" grandma trynna speed up her hustle!
I absolutely LOVE these videos, but I HATE it when there is no reveal 😢😂
Those ladies were so thrilled to see something so different. I bet they talk about it every day! Thanks for the video!
Swiss clockmaker, A French tailor and a BShitter teamed up to present this
It's funny how he makes the tales behind each magic believable. 😄😄😄
"I'm sorry, it's a little baggy" LOLOLOLOLOOOOOOOLLL
Anyone else binging this guy?
Yep in 2020
Currently, yes!
@@dae57 same !
yes in 2024
Was just thinking that at this point I am 100% obsessed 😅
A length of cloth being dragged through a slit was the wildest thing the mom had ever seen. Michael could have stopped there. Some people are very easily pleased.
She's referring to the whole concept of turning into a shirt. Obviously.
I had one of these when I was young. If you crank it in a certain pattern it sort of can make pants too.
I could listen to him BS about the olden days all day long.😁
Swiss watch maker and Italian tailor teamed up together....LMAO!!!
"A Swiss clock maker and a French tailor teamed up together to make this" :D
I died. :D :D :D
3:04 great acting right there. His reaction here was really believable.
“The thread pulls down on a spiral spike inside. The main middle shaft is a brass piston that pulls up and down on its original bolts.” 💀
Meanwhile, knuckle couplers plate alternating sprams from the t-nut to the SKN to the chim line. It's the McMillan way.
I think this is the only one where I can conceive how he does the trick
“The button chamber.”
🤣
"When I think of the hours I spend on my sewing machine."
HAH
Adorable!
You're GB
J
Jhjghjoo
Lmao. I probably laughed harder at the fact that the lady said he cut about a foot. Lmao. He legit cut out like 3+ feet. XD
lol the power of steampunk baby
"To think of all the hours i spent on my sewing machine" 😂😂😂😂
2:58 I have never! 😂😂😂
A Swiss Clock maker and a French Tailor teamed up together to make this
Hahahahahahahaha!!! “Then I closes that shenanigan there.” ᵔᴥᵔ ★★★★★
Katalyzt
It’s funny how he keeps you distracted with all the wild explanations that don’t make any sense haha 😂
Carbonaro would be great on one of those improv-based shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm.
He smoothly places the tape measure around his neck lol.
I love the bs explanations he comes up with! It's so great
he's just buying time with a lot of verbal misdirection while his assistance does the switch behind the wall
I bet you tell 5 year old's there ain't no sante claws
Ladies "no way" "nooo"
"yeah its little baggy, i am sorry" lmao
“You just turn that shenanigan there.......”.... _HA!_
Think about the hours I spent on sewing machine lol
We could call it,a stitch of Time Ha ha Ha
this guy is great
LOVE this ! ! !
This looks like a magic item you'd find in DnD.
she spent so much time looking for that phone and than never used it LMAOOO
ikr
lol the ladies coming at the end are like wtf are they talking about??
An antique bespoke 'whatever' maker and GREAT-GRANDMA gets out her cell phone to record.
“The button chamber”
The brass pistons and the button chamber are essential components.
Satisfied customers are always the best Salespersons !!!!!!!!!!!
I really want to see their reaction when they will know it's a prank
granny very stressed to facetime :)
“It’s a little baggy, I know. I’m sorry.”
His dumb explanations are almost as good as the tricks. People just go with it, hilarious
I SEW that one coming :D
+DarkoTDR HAHAHA I DIDNT SEE THIS COMING THOUGH :D
He would make a great politician 😄
Binging the carbonaro effect on youtube without the reactions of participant is torture.
I think of the hours I spend on my sewing machine 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm surprised that lady had an iPhone, I expected a Nokia
That's racist!
agist actually
do you wanna say "iphone users are dumb?"
I am reading this using my Nokia. Not kidding.
You can tell its fake by grandma having an iphone
Yes. Staged.
how the hell does that even make any sense? it's fake because the women has an i phone??
Not the fact that she has an iPhone. It's their terrible acting and purposeful cheats toward the camera that give it away. Calculated blocking, perfect pauses and dialogue timing, etc...
My grandma has a iPhone 😑
Yes she is.
"Brass piston" Ha Ha yeah got to have a brass piston

Excellent observation. It's scary, actually, how easy it is to convince people of absurdities.
Amazing 🤣🤣
"That is unbelievable " lol
Funny thing is those ladies actually bought the whole idea
Rumour said that the machine is still working.
Mom: ..and I think about all the hours I spent on a sewing machine..haha!
Daughter(thinking): mom, please don't remind me. That was embarrassing wearing home made clothes to school.
Swiss clock maker and a french tailor and a U.S. Bullshitter! the Combo for the ages! Seriously Carbonaro can sell air to people if he wanted to.
LOL. If B.S was ten cents a truck load, Michael could sell out and become a millionaire! I guess it’s true, there’s a sucker born everyday! He made this whole thing up and was so convincing, I almost believed it.😂
u are the best man
So behind the wall, there is the reserve.. 😄
His gibberish explanations. Then "It's a little bit baggy, I'm sorry". OTFFLMAO.
My grandma wants one
People can fall for anything. Imagine if there was a fear of harm and that intensifies. Like you may pass away if you don't do a certain thing. As well as those you encounter.
I feel like this could potentially be something we have for real within 30 years. The way 3D printing is changing
Um... they already feature 3d-printed outfits in fashion shows and some manufacturers have even included 3d-printed parts in shoes and the like. It's not mainstream yet, but you could get one today if you really wanted.
@@HerculesBallsInc eh, what this shows and what 3D Printing is capable of are pretty far off. I do agree we’ll probably get there but it’s not exactly the same yet.
They already thought about this since 1817.
God Love her...Love it....
Love it
Unfortunately cool 😀😁😀👍
Hook, line and sinker..
Not to take anything away from him as a magician, but the real talent here is not cracking a smile while the people react to the trick! I don't know how he holds it together in these scenes...
love him lol!
Quite a modern-looking shirt, too!
Mum: "That's the wildest thing I've seen". She must have lived a pretty sheltered life...
If you seen that, you probably think the same too
+Moneygetjealous She said that as the fabric went into the "machine"... she hadn't seen anything come out of that yet hahah that's why that sentence was so funny... 2:17
+deestraw Ha - that was my point! Funny!

If all these ideas for tricks were real the world would be a totally different place
Who is watching this in 2021?
Their brains are melting.
shenanigans!
This guy can make you take a 3rd mortgage to sell you your own bed...
How many times do they have to try this before they find someone who is either fooled or too polite to question such a stranger who seems so ernest?
0:30, did the daughter notice the camera??
there's peace only in rwanda🕊️
UN believable 😅
lol her sowing machine
All I can say is......lol!
Ah... finally he shows us a trick WITHOUT EDITING.
