It's pretty smart though. He always does it. I guess, the people are so bamboozled that their brains are trying to bring up any possible solution. He would answer a question directly, he would push them into a direction and it could fail any second. Acting, like he didn't get the question right, keeps the people thinking more about themselves not getting/seeing it.

@@awsome14619 Or just an average person type of thing. He's kind of is, since its a TV show and try to be family friendly, I'm sure his vocabulary is definitely a bit more different than how you would on an everyday basis, like to friends,co-workers,etc.

I figured it out. After they throw the darts, Michael injects the guy with an anesthetic and when he passes out they carry him to an EXACT replica of the same house down the street where the only thing different is the darts which are produced during the 4 1/2 hours the dude is sleeping.

I don't think so. They sleep him for each throw while in mid air and move them to a house with 1 pre made dart al ready placed on the 6. Then to the third house with 2 darts, etc. That way they don't have to make darts in a hurry.

The dart board is on axis within wooden frame. After he throws the 3 darts there is editing where they do something else as board is flipped and darts are placed in same location with number and name in ribbon. The one Michael threw already had info on it and that's why he threw it where he wouldn't miss,the wall.
Bing ! Yep ! There wouldn't even need to be editing for the board flip (or spin), you'd just need to distract the guy for a couple of seconds, have him look the other way. There is a locked off camera shot from both before and after the flip (at 0':55" and 1':36") if you screenshot the two and jump between them you can see the frame remains perfectly still as does the wall and all the various marks on the wall, whereas everything inside the frame jumps around a little, the post-it note jumps up and down, the handwriting on the before and after post-it is slightly different, the dart board itself is in a slightly different position, and the dart board isn't identical either, the little clips that hold the wire numbers in position are in different places on each of the two dart boards.

i remember when i was like 18/19 yo..i was into magic..the hardest part is not the sleight of hand..cuz i practice it hundreds of times..but the hardest part was the bullshitting to distract my friend..i was not very good at BSing cuz every person have different reaction and i need to improvise everytime...micheal is so good at improve its amazing.

Compare 1:01 to 1:36 and you can see the green back wall of the dart board pulls out and is replaced when the suspect is turned around distracted
You know the rotating hidden door? Yeah. The frame of the darthboard is just like that. And there are two darthboards on both sides, the guy from other side of the wall writes the numbers and just flips the frame. Cool huh?

I feel this guy just knew it was the TV show from the start but wanted to go along with it. It's no way he watched the show and didn't realize what's happening atleast a few minutes into the trick.
100%. Was scrolling comments looking for this and shocked other people didn’t realize. He absolutely knew and just played along. When Michael goes upstairs, you can see him examining the room, looking at the lighting and for the cameras, smiling and laughing while piecing it all together. He knew.

I think I may have figured this one out. The dartboard and the green square surrounding it must rotate backwards into the wall, where an assistant attaches the newly printed scripts. Michael has Caleb look the other way while this takes place.

I don't think enough time passed and he was too close to the board not to hear any sounds. An easier explanation is that it was staged.
JamieB3rt so....did you miss the part where Caleb threw three darts. Michael couldn’t have controlled where he threw the darts. That was all random. So, once the dart that Caleb threw landed, somehow they had to place a piece of paper on there with that number. They probably had 3 darts of each number printed and at some point after they threw all of them, they turned the board around, took those darts out and replaced them with the ones of corresponding paper. Excluding Michaels of course because his had the right paper when he threw it because he could control where it went. Not hard to hit a wall.

i like how michael acts like the impossible is completely probable, like "oh yeah, darts can tell the future..." great trick, something has to be edited out because the darts obviously have to be tampered with after he threw them.
I like how Michael said he’d be surprised in his name had been on it. He probably did that to contrast his very common name against Caleb’s more rare name. But I think it washed over the guy and he didn’t think of it. He was already baked.

Caleb just came from explaining American history to Mr. Hand.
This one was pretty simple to figure out. After the darts were thrown, the "guy upstairs" calls them both upstairs to do a simple, meaningless task. In the meantime, Michael's assistants quietly replace the darts with printed versions. They return downstairs, Caleb doesn't suspect anything because they went upstairs together and he assumed that nobody was downstairs, let alone a TV crew...lol. Of course, all this activity is edited out from the broadcast, but the effect is great and he's truly confused, if not a little underwhelmed by something so astonishing.
I don't think so. I have seen too many of these shows where he really does it all right in front of the guy. Only the removable moonroof one is questionable.
No. It's all real time. There are assistants behind the wall and they flip the board in the wall while Michael distracts Caleb. Michael's dart is done earlier. He misses the board because he's not good enough at darts to hit a specific number.
