Have booked Jeep Wrangler or Similar, what cars fall under this same bracket? Not sure wether or not to book with Alamo instead as I have heard they let you choose car? If anyone can help me out that would be great
Oddly enough, the last time I was at MCO in 2015, they didn't let me pick a car at all. They assigned a 2015 GMC Terrain SLT-2 V6 FWD to me, which was nice, but I still wish I'd gotten to see their other selections. I had a PCAR (a Premium Car, or a Chrysler 300 or Similar) reserved, but they gave me an IFAR (Intermediate SUV). They had pulled down a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT for the family behind me, and I was DEFINITELY hoping it wasn't mine (it wasn't). They *TRIED* to give me a 2015 Jeep Patriot Sport, but I refused to accept it, since it was a "Stripped-Down" model with NO options at ALL.
You could rent from Alamo or National Emerald Isle (free to join) where they let you pick from a selection of cars within whatever category of vehicle you've chosen.
@@Club-Thirty-Three Yes, but even as a NON-member, I've been able to pick my vehicle. I think that it (July) was a peak time for travelers, and they said they didn't have a lot to pick from, so they probably just wanted to give out what they had matching what you'd reserved as close as possible. For me, I asked for leather since it was my family and I traveling for a week, then driving to Tampa, then returning it at Tampa International Airport.I think they ALSO didn't let me pick because they wanted to give me something they needed at Tampa because I was acting as a "Transporter" of sorts for that small SUV (the 2015 GMC Terrain SLT-2 V6 FWD). It was still a nice vehicle, though, and with plenty of driver assistance tech!
i normally book with national but lately i’ve been using my local enterprise to save the trip to airport. i use my national emerald account is their any disadvantage to using enterprise over national besides older cars (they seem higher mileage).
hi kevin, thanks for your so-detailed reviews, they are incredible useful for people like me who rent just a few times a year. I got a good deal with Enterprise at MCO for this coming september: I got a PGDR (described as "special", 7 seater AWD). The only option showing at the site is VW Atlas so I was trying to see what are the usual options for that category but coulnd't find anything else and that's how I ended up on your video, but no luck either. Are you familiar with that category? I know they have to offer at least a 7 seater but can't be a minivan (as category is pretty different and also the "AWD" narrows the options). Do you have any idea of what can I get? Thanks for your videos!!!
Can't see the elite vehicle section in this video, if there is one there for enterprise, since you can book elite cars. Supposed to pick up a Premium Elite SUV soon ( Audi, BMW etc ) I was gonna downgrade to a Full Size Elite ( Audi A5, BMW, Mercedes etc ) incase they had more sedans instead of SUV, but didn't see any of that in this video also. Concerning for when I go lol I expect my very nice car Also, do I just go down there to talk to someone and pick a car, or do I need to do something in the terminal? Landing in terminal C. I heard enterprise was the best to reserve with there so that's why I chose them. To get the actual type of car I reserve
I like Enterprise at MCO, but the way they make you go to the counter first, then if you want a different car you can go to the booth is kind of lame. I rented a Full Size Luxury SUV through the Exotic rental side and I got a brand new Land Rover Defender 130 which was a fantastic car. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
@@arunphillips6977 Hello, No breakdowns, but it was brand spanking new. I had to take the owner's manual into our resort, so I could figure out how to turn off some of the bells and whistles. My wife and daughter called it the beast. If I were to buy any Land Rover/Cruiser, I would get the extended warranty because they are notorious for having lots of issues. It was metallic black, very beautiful.
Hello Can you please confirm under which category at enterprise is honda accord and ford edge? Also which variant of honda accord (1.5T, 2.0T or hybrid)?
@@SF.Automotive thnx. I am trying to book premium sedan category and was wondering what car choices do they offer (besides nissan maxima) under the premium sedans.
@@mazbpl I’ve actually never seen an arteon rental. I’ve seen a ton of Passat rentals in Canada, they’re over 2 years old by now so they’re becoming rare as rentals

Did the Land Rover break down at all? They have a dreadful reputation here in Europe as the least reliable vehicle.

Can you please confirm under which category at enterprise is honda accord and ford edge? Also which variant of honda accord (1.5T, 2.0T or hybrid)?
You’ll never see a rental 2.0T accord. The majority of them are the base 1.5T, you might see a few hybrid accords.
