Some of my great memories of raising my now 22year old were the four times a year we would take a day and go through her things and Declutter. Just spending time together and laughing and talking is the best! It is most definitely the simple time spent together that is what it’s all about. Thanks for sharing your life with us.❤

I so appreciate your willingness to share, where were you 20 years ago when I was dealing with the same issues. Since we are empty nesters now, I am much better but you have inspired me to go through all my rooms again and get rid of more stuff I didn't remember even having in those hidden shelves, drawers, and cupboards. She did a great job. I would suggest at some point to put a shelf above the bar in the closet. Great place for extra storage and a keepsake bin to keep things off the floor.

Make the closets and clothes look really nice is to have all the same hangers, we all have a different colour hanger (no pinching hangers) Starting the decluttering has been so uplifting the rooms I have done look so much bigger and airy, I sleep better now the bedroom is decluttered. Looking forward to seeing my whole house breath again.
Tip: You should get all matching hangers . It works wonders . It makes the closet look cleaner and the overall picture is just nicer

Kim I too am on a decluttering journey of just my stuff. My daughter is also decluttering her things too. My husband is not on board with decluttering his stuff.
I'm seeing the difference in my closet where now the few belongings that I kept are neatly organized.

While I don't have a major decluttering presently since I am old (77 years old actually) I need the motivation to go through my prepper pantry which has way to much food for one person.

The metal clothes hanger is a turnoff for me. Whenever I see one in my closet I have to get rid of it plus in my opinion you could injure yourself with them.

Absolutely!
Room looks very nice. You may want to give up the dance clothes. Fabric (and the thread) deteriorates over time and if not stored properly. Your daughter will have her dance memorabilia and it can be better preserved.
