Did you ignore the cycler in the Vision Season 2 "Sith" episoid. It's used quite extensively in that episoid.

Because the Prequel shows more of the alien side of the galaxy, it's interesting to see designs that go beyond the norm, such as the Nantex Interceptor, Vulture Droid,TSEMEU-6 and so on.
Interesting to see the vehicle pop up again in Star Wars: Visions. Such an iconic, and frankly cool design, always hits just right

I just finished Maul Lockdown and varactyls are high key very scary. Capable of matching the wheel bike in speed and matching Maul in ferocity.

You know, there is a droid version of this vehicle as well. There was a concept art piece of a monowheel droid that looked similar to this.
I really love this thing, the wheel mod allows it to zip around prety fast and is decent going over terrain, yet thanks to the legs it will be slower but walking mode I imagine is useful for when it's parked or for going over steeper terrain the wheel mode might not be able to climb. Probably not a good combat vehicle, but for someone like Grevious who often runs away and will need a speedy exit, it's pretty useful.
It would be a pretty decent combat vehicle compared to most speeder bikes, as the legs it has allows it to be just as fast and far more agile and in low speeds it is a more stable firing platform with protection from small arms fire from the front
It would probably be a fialry decent combat vehicle actually, although not for frontal assaults on strong positions.
I’d argue it could be a good frontal assault vehicle. Cause you gotta think under a skilled pilot this thing could come barreling in firing that huge dual laser cannon. Then the legs could spring up launching the bike which this could lead to many possibilities. It could simply land on the ground laying down heavy fire or hell a fucking wall. Landing on enemy troops or vehicles. And with its maneuverability in wheel mode. I imagine a good pilot could bomb rush a single AT-TE or even an AT-AT jump up and land on top of one even if doesn’t land on point it easily get into position to unleash hell on weak points of the vehicles.

I loved the version of this in Visions. As a young writer I conceptualized a similar vehicle (I have no memory of this part of revenge of the sith, so jury’s out on whether that was an influence) that looked more like the earth’s mono wheel, and Lola’s model in Visions. One problem I could never figure out though- how could you consistently see where you’re going? 😂 I liked how Lola’s bike solved that issue, wish I’d thought of it back in the day.
The only thing cooler than Grevious's bike was that pool table! I mean, what the hell was that!!???

I actually gained inspiration by this vehicle for a war vehicle that combines drone and organic systems. Their were two variants which play separate roles utalising reusable weapons and can fit a veriaty of terrains. I nicknamed the design the twin wheel assault vehicle
The first are the frontal units which would house two drivers. One would control the driving with thick armour making it strong to face a tank, machine gun turret in the middle and whilst the second pilot would operate a heave cannon on one side to pierce heavy vehicles such as tanks. A compartment on the other side housed ammo and acted as a counter wait for the heavy turret, but could also change its shells for bombardment purposes.
The second which was smaller would be used to attack enemy forces on the roads called the riders. Only using light weapons to attack troops and could be operated by a control system that the command could continuesly change and if pocessed an anti capture protocal so if damaged enough and detected enemy troops near by it could detonate. Also these were made to travel in pacls on 7 to 10 to suprise enemy forces. But lighter versions could be used as scouts to locate enemy positions.
If I remember correctly, this is the only Star Wars vehicle that is both a wheel and a walker

I think the reason you can't find more mentions in other canon content and its not featured anywhere else is because its not Grievous' wheel bike. If you look closely, you see at least 2 more of the same vehicles standing in the platform, right before its launched. My theory is, that it belonged to the Pauans (turnoround platform is already built in), and they just parked there, or they were confiscated by the CIS army. I am not convinced it was his. Maybe he used it already while "visiting" the planet (so he had time to equip it with the blaster), but it was not in his possession

Where is the hanger bay on it, it can store 3 tiens and 2 shuttles but i can’t figure out where the shuttles goes or how they dock to the cruiser

@@Chisszaru As far as we know, Boga survived just like Obi-Wan did when they got blasted off the wall in Order 66.
@@RedXlV as far as we actually know, Boga didn't actually survive. He was closer to the blast than Obi, and unlike Obi-Wan, he didn't have the force to help him slow down the fall. The clones themselves said that no one could survive a fall like that, unless it's a jedi. Water is actually a deadlier surface to land on than dirt or sand, as water basically becomes like concrete at the speed Obi and Boga hit the water at. Boga didn't survive, that is a certainty. Only a jedi or sith can survive such falls, because they have the force at their side, Boga does not have the force.

Permitting Media Conglomerates to exist was a huge mistake. Back in the day there were tight restrictions on a media company only having the one television channel, newspaper, and radio frequency. Because they weren't all owned by the same person they ended up keeping each other in check.
