I wish there could be more music like this one, more performances like this one. They feel so comfortable, so at ease... They're not wearing shining and very expensive clothes, not even lots of make up,there are no dancers, no band. Just a guy, a girl, their voices and a guitar.
So I just listened to this like 20 times in a row, so first off kudos to matt and ingrid for making me want to. Each part of their individual performance is riveting, but really the awesome spot is when they harmonize on "baby i'm falling away". the 2x they repeat that together are the coolest harmonies ever...
that's true... in most tv appearances, and live shows, Ingrid isn't usually as pitchy as she was in this video. but still... this is such a candid performance.. it's really wonderful.
@MrJohnlightsout I like this version just as much as the version on the CD. Ingrid's voice is amazing, as is Matt's. It's different, yes. But absolutely NOT disappointing.
@mrbrown242424 Ooh! Rats! I'm only sorry I didn't talk about seeing Ingrid in concert recently and how SHE seemed as though SHE had to go (potty) as well when she was singing. So really they're perfect singing together. OR that I'd said "Eleventy billion" instead! Cheers.

Ingrid looked at Matt like he was crazy and she just couldn't 'play' with him. Too bad actually because he has a great sense of humor! Love them both though.
I love this song for eleventy-thousand different reasons....but I have a hard time WATCHING the video....because Matt Nathanson seems so fidgety, like he should have taken a potty break before calling Ingrid up or something.
