Will be combining Tesco club card points, the eStore and eventually a points earning credit card (was thinking Amex as can convert from Amex rewards to Avios 1:1 as required). Love your channel

I live in England and I really like your video. You have helped me realise I can use American Airlines with my Avios points. I am using it to fly from Miami to the Caribbean. To reach Florida I will fly from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale.
When you get to Dublin, just fly Ryanair for €10-20 to London, much cheaper and no avios👍🏽👍🏽
This is great! One thing I'd like which I haven't seen -because the market seems to be completely dominated by American Express- is a video on the best UK credit cards! The reason being is so far have the Amex Gold and BA Black Card and I'm looking into getting my third, my eye is on the Amex Plat! Sadly the Platinum card here is not generally as good as its US counterpart, presumably due to the lack of market competitiveness here. Is this something you would consider making in the future?
I've been looking to getting another Amex and have been researching lots of cards, pity the UK doesn't have the same variety and offers as the US does like Chase Sapphire etc. I suspect it's because we don't have as strong a credit card culture as the US... I also come across a lot of stores and especially cafes that don't accept Amex, so I've mostly been using it for online groceries and booking flights.

I live in the UK but go to Ireland with Aer Lingus a lot as I'm from Dublin, and my parents live and brother live in Ireland. But I only travel abroad about twice a year max, usually short haul around Europe. Pity it can't be done online, I hate phoning to make bookings... was debating between this and Lloyds Avios card but I think I'll go with BA as it has no fee
You can also use the Tesco Clubcard Credit Card in the UK which gets you 5 points for £4 spent (In Tesco's), and If you convert them to Avios they quadruple the value of the points.

I imagine its the same process with Canada. I paid over $780 in charges after using BA points to London and Paris for this coming summer. I wish I had known this prior . I imagine I can't change this now?

Have you tried upgrading BA with Avios? I've heard they were the easiest but my experience is the contrary. Apparently if you purchased the ticket with cash, you can't use the Avios to upgrade.

I'm trying to book a ticket on Aerlingus using the Avios I have from BritishAirway, the only way to do that seems to through avios.com but I'm not able to transfer the avios, the site keep getting me error and the customer support is existence. Any had previous experience with this can help me out?

If I booked with Aer Lingus with avios but fly to London from the US is that huge fee still there? I’m trying to see the best way to fly from Washington DC to London using avios and flying business class. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
The huge fee is not there, because you change planes in Ireland, so you only get that tax/fee on the Dublin to London leg which is a 1 hour flight so it is much cheaper, it will be about $50, and the long part, DC to Dublin won’t have the massive feee

Gerard Cura you should be able to book the whole itinerary through aer lingus in one go, just search US to London flights and it will automatically have you changing planes in Dublin or Shannon.
hey is there any way to use aa miles on aer lingus? im trying to book a flight to ireland but it's flying on ba planes so its about $500 in tax and fuel charges.
Couldn't you just book an AA flight to Ireland? You definitely don't want to go through the UK because of the fees.
Flights on AA are all using BA planes so it's charging around $500

so if i have a $1500 card and lets say i nearly max it out within that month i will be "good" as long as i pay in full before the month ends?

Bori Gaming won't look good on your credit report though. Should always try keep utilisation as low as possible. If you need to use a higher amount of money charge cards are the way to go. They usually have an annual fee but they have no credit limit technically and so your credit won't be affected unless u don't pay back at the end of the month no matter how much u spend. Hope that makes sense
