in fact: in space, it is much easier to repair electronic circuits of "Commodore 64" type size rather than ultra-miniaturized or nanotechnology electronic circuits. So: even in the distant future, it is entirely possible that masterpiece computers will be largely composed of large components with circuits of this type. remember: the only 2 things that matters in space is that : 1. the machine works and does its job well, 2. and that in the event of a problem it can be repaired without spare parts.

So many ambient music/sound channels are resorting to AI trash, and it's so saddening. I'm a write and an artist, and I hate finding a really good track from someone who is clearly talented, only to see that all their videos are AI, which is a slap in the face. Especially since many artists would be happy to contribute to such videos, and footage of nature and space comes is easy to get for free all over the internet. Anyway, back to writing my Alien fanfic ahaha. Keep the great work up!!

I completely understand why artists and people in creative industries feel frustrated or even disheartened by the rise of AI-generated visuals. It’s a very valid concern. That said, as a small TH-camr with a vision of creating videos, music, and soundscapes for relaxation and escapism, I have to admit that I wouldn’t even know how to approach hiring artists for visuals-both in terms of time, logistics, and especially finances. Without the ability to generate AI visuals, I wouldn’t have been able to pursue this project at all. As a musician, I get the parallel to what visual artists are going through, but if I’m being honest, no one is knocking on my door to commission soundtracks right now. So, at this stage, I’m not losing out on opportunities the way established artists might. I try to honor that by making the AI visuals my own, adding as much life and creativity as I can through animation and sound design. For me, AI serves more as a supportive tool to help realize a vision that might not otherwise be possible. I think many people also don’t realize just how much time it takes to create AI-generated visuals that match a specific vision. Personally, I spend an enormous amount of time crafting and tweaking prompts, generating images (since what the AI produces often doesn’t align with my expectations), painting in objects or replacing and refining elements within the AI output, upscaling the images, and then fine-tuning them in Photoshop-adjusting colors, adding lighting effects, retouching, and so on. I even train my own small AI models sometimes, like for the Aliens dropship or specific character models (for example, Ellen Ripley), because standard AI models can’t yet handle certain intricate details. So, there’s actually a huge amount of time-and sometimes money-that goes into bringing these ideas to life. I’d also much prefer to focus more on the music and sound design, but as a solo creator, you really have to offer more today to get noticed. As the saying goes, the eye eats too. If I were to just release a music video with a static cover image, it would probably disappear into the internet’s void. I know there are so many creators like me who have a passion for music and sound, and thanks to AI, they finally feel brave enough to share their creativity with the world. I think that’s fantastic. I’m excited to see so many new creatives emerge, and I’m even in contact with some of them, exchanging ideas and experiences, which makes me genuinely happy. In the end, it’s all a matter of perspective and how you choose to view things. Right now, I think it’s great, even though I’m sure we’re heading for exciting but also bumpy times with these disruptive technologies. Thanks for watching! 1. The raw material comes from the game Alien Isolation, which I captured using a camera hack for the game and screen captured it with OBS. 2. I created the individual screen animations with After Effects, as the original screens were plain and unattractive + camera movements for the scenes. 3. After that, I edited and color-graded the individual scenes with Davinci Resolve. 4. I compiled many sound effects from various sources. :-)

In the film, the computer is indeed referred to as 'Mother,' but some fans like to use 'MU-TH-UR' as a nod to the way the word is stylized in certain parts of the Alien franchise’s promotional materials and technical manuals. 1. The raw material comes from the game Alien Isolation, which I captured using a camera hack for the game and screen captured it with OBS.
2. I created the individual screen animations with After Effects, as the original screens were plain and unattractive + camera movements for the scenes.
3. After that, I edited and color-graded the individual scenes with Davinci Resolve.
4. I compiled many sound effects from various sources. :-)

In the film, the computer is indeed referred to as 'Mother,' but some fans like to use 'MU-TH-UR' as a nod to the way the word is stylized in certain parts of the Alien franchise’s promotional materials and technical manuals. Hello Steve. Well, TH-cam recently updated its policies regarding advertising on videos. Now, they have the authority to place ads on videos, even those of non-TH-cam partners, without any control or influence from the video creators.
