I know what it means to lose a favorite lure. I lost my grandfather when I was seven. He had a favorite lure and I asked for it and thankfully I got. Unfortunately I was using it and the line broke which made me sicker than a dog. Knowing that I would never see it again I believe my grandfather was smiling because I was trying to follow his footsteps. Things happen and never can be replaced. But I still have the memories with the short time I had with him.

this vid reminded me of the time my partner troy lost a plano box full of perchbaits out of the transome well of my boat i told him not to leave it there.he cried and wined all the way back to rochester,i felt bad for him,took him a long time too colect the rite color baits then he lost them.there were at least 8 in there.now that box resides at the bottom of the niagara river,between tanawanda island and sheridan launch.

It has come to the attention of our organization that you unknowingly abused the lure responsible for perhaps the largest musky ever caught in Lake Erie by leaving the lure on the gunnel of your boat and driving away. Although the abuse was unintentional, it is still regarded as abuse by this office.

We suggest in the future when you have the hottest lure on the planet you secure it in a manner befitting its status withing the musky world.
Once this office is certain you are no longer a threat to your lures we will return the lure in question to you, or after the close of the New York State and Ontario musky seasons.
