Dear Mr Shron, Ive watched this video 3 times now and it moves me every time. I agree with you 100% about saving our railway history. I am so pleased to know that with every Rapido product I buy, a small fraction of its cost is going towards the Edmunston restoration. You have my word I’ll be putting my name down for an HO Edmunston car for my layout too. And thank you for the great Rapido products. If only the coach was closer because I’d love to volunteer my time with the restoration being semi-retired now.

You DON'T see any other (model) train manufacture CEO (EVER!) that has such passion for the railroad/train on the internet (or anywhere else for that matter!) and this is why RAPIDO is such a incredible company to invest in when buying serious model trains/cars. BTW, Each VIA Rail car has a Canadian city name given to it... EDMUNSTON, in this case is a city here in New Brunswick. Good Stuff!!

Been following the progress of this car since I met Jason when he first came to Georgia to look at the car... then that summer of 2015. I helped Mark with the COTS after Ted had to head back north. I Learned a lot about air brakes from Mark that I still use today. So that’s my connection with Edmundston.

Emotional to watch this Jason. Please stay the course. You and I will not be here forever but once restored, This car will live on for another 1-2 hundred years or more. Your great-grandchildren can brag about all the work you and the team put into preserving THEIR as well as our railroad history.
If you decide to make an HO Edmunston model to help fund the restoration, count me in for at least one or more. I think they would make wonderful gifts for those of us who care about the clickity-clack past. Cheers, Danny

Your welcome, I only wish I could afford your product, heck, even on eBay it is hard to afford your passenger cars, I wanted to make, as close as possible some of the trains I was too young to remember.

It was tagged when it was moved to TMC, but Chris cleaned it off before we shot the daytime stuff.

The Budd cars are all still in service up here in Canada. We want to preserve the ex-CN cars which have long been retired.

The difficulties of preserving the old railway equipment is that it is made by a bunch of hili-billies on state government loan.
