Would it be ludicrous to get this and forego a microwave altogether? Genuine question. A microwave drawer will add another $1000-2000 and I’m wondering if this will make that redundant
Hi Steve. In trying the find appliances for our remodel we are leaning towards Bosch 800 series fridge and dishwasher, and Wolf 36" induction cooktop. The difficult part is finding speed oven / wall oven. We were considering Wolf and Miele on their lower end ovens (Wolf E Series SO3050PE/S/P vs Miele H 7180 BP). Do these ovens have guided cooking? Are they good options for the budget conscious shopper? Of the 2 which would you recommend? We will also need a speed oven to match. Would you recommend the SKS over the Wolf and Miele?
I'm in between the Wolf and Miele 30" single wall oven. Which would you recommend as the most reliable? I just after simplicity and something that hopefully can last 15+ years. Thanks for any feedback.
Dear Yale team, I have a very small kitchen and now searching for a new steam oven with reheat function that can be replacement for a both microwave and convection oven. What would you recommend between miele and SKS?
At 1:17 "Again, notice how simple it is to operate." I would dispute that. Historically ovens are one knob kind of appliances. My mom used to be a fancy cook and would give professional cooking classes. She is older now and I tried to teach her how to do text messaging so I could send her photos. You and me think that texting is really easy, but she couldn't understand the messaging app (but she can do the answer and dial part of the smartphone). So there is no way she and people like her could learn this oven, let alone operate it. I am a computer professional and realize that smartphones have given most people computer skills, but that surely doesn't include everyone. At 3:08 "This oven only costs $5995." But then a blue price tag shows up listing the price as $6999. That is a trivial conflict. What I need to know before I buy an appliance is where it is manufactured and by whom. I would buy from LG but I am no longer buying appliances made in China. Mr. Sheinkopf puts out some of the best appliance videos on TH-cam.
SOLD! 😃
Can you put metal into a speed oven?
Not in a microwave setting

Look at the LG Studio wall oven...Its steam assist oven with a speed oven top
@@YaleAppliance1Is a stream assist oven different from a combi oven?

Both are good...Wolf will be better when there are issues....
@@YaleAppliance1 thanks
We bought a 30 inch gas Wolf range about 3 years ago. The oven works so good we would be scared to buy anything else.

Hey thanks.....BTW, not everything is for everyone. I like this oven, but its not for people who will just bake like usual.
Hello Steve
Hi
Nope. Not buying LG after they cheated me on a television.
