I wish. This mod is great, I wish Iona, Jordis, and Mjol got the same treatment.
In this mod, Lydia can respond to and interact with a large number of vanilla and expansion content, whether it's just saying something on the way in to a ruin or speaking to other NPC's it's great. Mod author describes it as making someone so Iconic into a story of their own. It's very good once you get it working :)

I'd kill for a Jordis overhaul. She's better Lydia IMO, but overlooked since you have to hang out in Solitude and shell out for Proudspire to get her.

it's been taken down, but with a little magic you can find a way to port it on your own to LE version. I've done it before and "it just works".

This game is like a decade old and it's player base still thrives.
That's what happens when the devs gives the playerbase freedom to do what with their single player game oh and not releasing the next game

@@mechatengu7368 honestly I'm in no rush for the next game. I'm loving the creativity of the skyrim modders. especially the ones who make fully voiced dlc sized quests. or even the ones that aren't voiced but then someone else releases voice patches voicing them (vigilant). Bethesda loves the modding community so I'm sure the next one will be just as easy to mod if not easier but it'll still take a long time for it to come even close to the number of mods for skyrim.
@showaker4755 Same having seen how bland Starfield is I went and reinstalled Skyrim, spent 5 days fixing what Todd's last update did to my loadordee so only really been testing mod compatibility play an hour or so at a time and honestly I'm loving it all the new mods since I last played, I am genuinely far more excited for Beyond Skyrim Cyriodil and Atmora than I am for Elders Scrolls 6

Everytime I start playing Skyrim I spend a month modding it to "perfection", the results are astonishing, & I can take the game further than I have ever thought everytime. It's the best "game" I know of, I havent started/created my AE version yet, I'll prob wait until winter, the hours I put in modding it & making it work every time is the only thing stopping me from playing this non stop. Great build btw.
A lot of people (myself included) find more enjoyment in the modding itself for some weird reason.

Skyrim is still the best game ever I just cant beat one modded version I created last time, it took forever & was extremely hard to have it all work. I wish you the best of luck, have fun!
Using too many mods for VR is a nightmare for me.
My PC doesn't run on RTX. I'd have to overclock it just to prevent a crash.

Did you tried it with Inigo? I know they don't have voice lines with the new Lydia voice but she keep the vainilla voice or just make a silence?
For me, she don't reply, inigo talks alone.

Yeah same I found a patch for handsome housecarls or the aio of the same type should work as well idk... I'm using bijin currently tho so cant use it. Disappointing for sure.

At the risk of sounding like a total moron, how did you get your Lydia to look like that? Every appearance mod I try with Improved Follower Dialogue - Lydia just doesn't seem to work.

If you're on xbox there are 2 versions of this mod. One worked with bijin and the patch, the other one didn't. At least for me. One version has a SS of lydia as the thumbnail and the other has a SS of permission to port from MA. the latter is the one currently working for me.
I just hope my favorites (Cicero, Mjoll, Marcurio, Frea, Teldryn, Belrand) eventually get similar mod treatment one day

it's usually a load order problem, you need to load this mod after anything that touches lydia. but if you're using that redefined mod, you can check that mod's post tab to use them both together.

It’s installed like any mod. It’s called Dark Souls Item Pack by Team TAL. Their patreon download link is taken down, but there is an SE port by full_inu that is still up. Use the mod Add Item Menu to get it in your game.
