I went to Honduras when I was a senior in high school. We went as part of a ministry group I was in. The experience changed me to my core. I saw poverty that I had never seen before but all the people I encountered were happy, loving, and giving of the little that they had. Jesus and family were the two most important figures in their lives and they lived this everyday. I could not get over how happy these people were having virtually nothing. I came back to the US and realized how selfish and materialistic our culture is. I am an adult now and have often thought about going back to Honduras to help those poor people. It makes me so sad how poor and corrupt that little country is, yet the attitude of the people I met was so positive. Hopefully, one day I can go back and make a difference! Thank you for sharing your story and being so open and honest about your struggles…a very difficult topic to discuss, I’m sure🙏🏻
The same Holy Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead, lives in you and me, breaks us away from all temptation and any strategy of the devil! God has great things in store for all who call Jesus Lord! I really like the way this guy expresses himself about God. It gives me joy because he's young yet mature and has so much life ahead of him. It's especially exciting when God is with you & he spoke truth. Surrender is the keyword, surrender it all & yourself to the Lord! I'm also impressed he has zero accent 😆 in Spanish. He can love someone and if they reject the salvation He offers, they will go to Hell. He doesn’t wait until we’re saved or behave well to love us. A Don Ryvcko video is the last thing I expected to see today... Wow. God is good. I was addicted to pornography for most of my childhood. I was attending church during that season, but I hated God. I hated God because it was obvious He wanted me to give up my addiction, but I didn't want to. I took an odd sense of pride in having knowledge about the Bible, but not using it. I had everyone in my life completely fooled, and that was honestly exciting at first. Over time though, I became tired. My worldview was awful, and I was to the point where I couldn't even talk to a girl. Ironically, through this entire period of my life, I was listening to CHH. I had grown up listening to Christian radio. I think the songs on there are good in moderation, but it was all I ever got to hear. I chose CHH because it was different than what was on the radio, but it was still safe enough that people couldn't accuse me of listening to "bad" music. Don, your music was some of the only stuff I genuinely enjoyed. Your originality blew my mind and it still does to this day. Eventually, I was just depressed. At the time, I had no reason to live except for porn. That was when God broke through though. In my darkest moment, He showed me that life can be so much more. I am in awe of His love, and His creativity as well. The way He spoke to me through people and art was so beautiful. It was Halloween when I decided to officially turn back to God. I didn't have a phone at the time, so I only had an old MP3 player to play music from. The first song I chose to play after rededicating my life was "Nada Más." Don... I always wrestled with the lyrics in that song. This time, I could fully appreciate them. You have such a pure heart, man. God spoke to me through your song, and ever since He has been transforming the way that I see people. It's been the greatest journey that I've ever been on, and I am so grateful that you followed the calling God gave you because I needed your song. Now, I have a calling of speaking out against pornography and its harmful effects. I have spoken at a couple of churches already and made good friends because of it. So yeah. I'm sorry for the essay, I am just really glad this video popped up. God bless you, man.

We just can't serve The Lord Jesus Christ and worldly music. In all things we do we must GLORIFY GOD. The Lord convicted me of any secular music. The problem with most people is they just don't want to deny them self, their flesh, the worldly things or hear the TRUTH. We can't be Lukewarm. Jesus does not approve Lukewarm followers. It's all or nothing with following the Lord. We either CHOOSE HIM fully or we dont. If we do anything that does not glorify God it's NOT of The Lord and will NEVER please The Lord. Jesus Bless whomever is reading this❤️ The Lord would never tell anyone to make worldy music you can't Glorify Him with. The Lord is NOT an Author of confusion. The enemy is.
I agree that most secular music is bad but I don't think all of it is. as we shouldn't listen to people getting drunk on alcohol or taking avenge on anyone. All I am trying to say is if it does not have a bad meaning then I don't see why we can't listen to it.

There are many people in the world that Love God and make music. Just because it is not played on a Christian radio nor on a Sunday service doesn’t mean that person doesn’t have Jesus in their heart. We see this as a perfect way for the Lord to use this gentleman, when they interview him “hey what’s your inspiration” that’s a beautiful avenue to preach the Gospel!
@@delafetestimonies I respect your opinion. With that being said, I look at it this way The Lord is HOLY, anything secular yes rap, hip hop, rock, is something that doesn't glorify God. I look at it this way and ask "would the Lord play this in His Kingdom?". If the answer is no, it doesn't glorify God. Just because someone sings about God doesn't mean it pleases The Lord. I'm really strong on my opinion because The Lord delivered me from all of that and it's not of Him. It's like for example Christians saying it's ok to celebrate Halloween and it's not. The Lord says "deny yourself, pick up your cross". Meaning you will have to accept denying who you are, pretty much dying to one self and all the pleasures of the world. Nothing of this world pleases God or whatever is in it. That's why we as true followers of The Lord will live in the world but shouldn't live of it. There is many "Christian" music out there, just because they sing about The Lord doesn't mean it's of The Lord. Just because people know Jesus doesn't mean they follow Him. The devil knows the gospel too. We must seek the Lord all the way with all of our hearts. (Rev 3: 15-16).

The calling God has given me is to make music not for the church but specifically for those who don't know Christ and are out in the world living as lost people do. The music I make is not something that has the "Christian" sound (Reggaeton, Urban music) but these songs nonetheless are influenced and founded on biblical principles and glorify God at the end of the day. The messages are more subtle but people who often are turned off by "Christian" music can listen to this music, truly enjoy it for its originality and quality, and dig deeper and see that all my content is rooted in biblical truth at the end of the day. Ultimately, God didn't call me to be a theologian with my music, but use it as a conversation starter in the secular world and plant seeds in people to get the Holy Spirit to truly work within them and transform their lives when they accept Christ!

@@mechadoggy I don't judge nobody it's an opinion I'm allowed to have an opinion and I went on his TH-cam and the music that I saw was not glorifying God it's my opinion I'm entitled to that it's not judgment. If what I'm saying bothers you enough to become degensive then you're upset with God not me because He says in His word and speaks clear about secularism and the things of the world. I'm just speaking clear of His word and what He calls us to do to glorify Him and to make sure that everything we do is glorifying Him. Judgement and an opinion are two different things. It needs to be backed by evidence. I believe you also said “There’s nothing good about that.” That statement is no mere opinion.

The “Sound of Music” songs are technically secular. Show us which verses then talk about such secular music and tell us what those verses say to do with the secular songs I mentioned.

A Don Ryvcko video is the last thing I expected to see today... Wow. God is good.
I was addicted to pornography for most of my childhood. I was attending church during that season, but I hated God. I hated God because it was obvious He wanted me to give up my addiction, but I didn't want to. I took an odd sense of pride in having knowledge about the Bible, but not using it. I had everyone in my life completely fooled, and that was honestly exciting at first.
Over time though, I became tired. My worldview was awful, and I was to the point where I couldn't even talk to a girl. Ironically, through this entire period of my life, I was listening to CHH. I had grown up listening to Christian radio. I think the songs on there are good in moderation, but it was all I ever got to hear. I chose CHH because it was different than what was on the radio, but it was still safe enough that people couldn't accuse me of listening to "bad" music. Don, your music was some of the only stuff I genuinely enjoyed. Your originality blew my mind and it still does to this day.
Eventually, I was just depressed. At the time, I had no reason to live except for porn. That was when God broke through though. In my darkest moment, He showed me that life can be so much more. I am in awe of His love, and His creativity as well. The way He spoke to me through people and art was so beautiful.
It was Halloween when I decided to officially turn back to God. I didn't have a phone at the time, so I only had an old MP3 player to play music from. The first song I chose to play after rededicating my life was "Nada Más." Don... I always wrestled with the lyrics in that song. This time, I could fully appreciate them. You have such a pure heart, man. God spoke to me through your song, and ever since He has been transforming the way that I see people. It's been the greatest journey that I've ever been on, and I am so grateful that you followed the calling God gave you because I needed your song.
Now, I have a calling of speaking out against pornography and its harmful effects. I have spoken at a couple of churches already and made good friends because of it.
So yeah. I'm sorry for the essay, I am just really glad this video popped up. God bless you, man.

We just can't serve The Lord Jesus Christ and worldly music. In all things we do we must GLORIFY GOD. The Lord convicted me of any secular music. The problem with most people is they just don't want to deny them self, their flesh, the worldly things or hear the TRUTH. We can't be Lukewarm. Jesus does not approve Lukewarm followers. It's all or nothing with following the Lord. We either CHOOSE HIM fully or we dont. If we do anything that does not glorify God it's NOT of The Lord and will NEVER please The Lord. Jesus Bless whomever is reading this❤️ The Lord would never tell anyone to make worldy music you can't Glorify Him with. The Lord is NOT an Author of confusion. The enemy is.
I agree that most secular music is bad but I don't think all of it is. as we shouldn't listen to people getting drunk on alcohol or taking avenge on anyone. All I am trying to say is if it does not have a bad meaning then I don't see why we can't listen to it.

There are many people in the world that Love God and make music. Just because it is not played on a Christian radio nor on a Sunday service doesn’t mean that person doesn’t have Jesus in their heart. We see this as a perfect way for the Lord to use this gentleman, when they interview him “hey what’s your inspiration” that’s a beautiful avenue to preach the Gospel!
@@delafetestimonies I respect your opinion. With that being said, I look at it this way The Lord is HOLY, anything secular yes rap, hip hop, rock, is something that doesn't glorify God. I look at it this way and ask "would the Lord play this in His Kingdom?". If the answer is no, it doesn't glorify God. Just because someone sings about God doesn't mean it pleases The Lord. I'm really strong on my opinion because The Lord delivered me from all of that and it's not of Him. It's like for example Christians saying it's ok to celebrate Halloween and it's not. I suggest people taking it to prayer and putting flesh aside 100 percent and ask The Lord about that. Jesus Bless you.

The Lord says "deny yourself, pick up your cross". Meaning you will have to accept denying who you are, pretty much dying to one self and all the pleasures of the world. Nothing of this world pleases God or whatever is in it. That's why we as true followers of The Lord will live in the world but shouldn't live of it. There is many "Christian" music out there, just because they sing about The Lord doesn't mean it's of The Lord. Just because people know Jesus doesn't mean they follow Him. The devil knows the gospel too. We must seek the Lord all the way with all of our hearts. (Rev 3: 15-16).
@@throughfrankieseyeznow Hey I completely understand where you're coming from. I just wanna clarify something from my end. The calling God has given me is to make music not for the church but specifically for those who don't know Christ and are out in the world living as lost people do. The music I make is not something that has the "Christian" sound (Reggaeton, Urban music) but these songs nonetheless are influenced and founded on biblical principles and glorify God at the end of the day. The messages are more subtle but people who often are turned off by "Christian" music can listen to this music, truly enjoy it for its originality and quality, and dig deeper and see that all my content is rooted in biblical truth at the end of the day. Ultimately, God didn't call me to be a theologian with my music, but use it as a conversation starter in the secular world and plant seeds in people to get the Holy Spirit to truly work within them and transform their lives when they accept Christ!
