This was the attitude when I worked at Flame Broiler and Krystal’s. We threw out so much food everyday because of mess up orders etc, and I was always reprimanded for giving the food away. It broke my heart fr. No one should be without a meal.

I don't work at a restaurant or other food place (I'm a stay at home Mom)...but the past couple times I've seen homeless people, I've bought them food. It's a great feeling to help people in need!
Thank you for doing what you've done no matter how small it may feel because it's huge for people in a tight spot. I've been on both sides. Growing up I worked food drives in and out of Boy Scouts but I hit some tough times at seventeen and had to rely on my friends for help. It's always amazing to see the kindness of strangers from frequented store employees offering their time and homes to friends who do what they can even when it's just offering a driveway for parking your Jeep.
