DM MTB yes, but generally the local trails early in the morning. done a trip to Thredbo, Stromlo and ourimbah but they are a long time between drinks. Would love to do one of those races.
Well done mate, pushing yourself got a lots of runs in there! I've never had a crack at racing mtb, I found in my bmx racing days I used to try too hard 🤕 😂 after watching this might consider it. Looks a great trail to race on also. Good vid cheers 👍

Nice work Dave! Side note: I had no idea there was a trail off to the left of pork barrel just before you cross the firetrail (near where sunset joins). Gonna have to check it out next time. Looks like some techy rock roll sections.
Yeah part of the approval to go ahead was to use the back side of the park so as to leave it open for general public. A few xc guys were a bit miffed they weren't allowed on sunset, pork barrel & Double dis as it was only for racers
At these events it’s about 50/50 re clipless and I know I’m not at the pointy end but just enjoy the atmosphere that goes with the racing and getting out of the house fir the weekend 😁

Hey man I’ve registered online for the ourimbah superflow. This is my first time doing a race. Will they give you a random number for you if it’s your first time. And will I have to pedal to the top of the ourimbah mountain every time
Lucas Miller unless you have got in the top 3 in the last race we all get a random race number ..... and yes pedal / push up to the start lines .... what category are you in?

DM MTB broken just above the 2nd knuckle - likely somewhere between 3-6 weeks depending on how it goes. Bummed but could have been worse I guess.

No not much luck! I raced pretty much all day & then 3hrs drive home & i was running at 20% on Sunday

Nelson Shaw yeah I had no idea ether .... I only did the b-line though as the a-line is probably doable for me but didn’t what to gamble on a race run

I always assumed that to be competitive you either needed to be Sam Hill or ride Clipless. Are all the fastest riders using clipless pedals?
