Forgot to talk about his Constellations! His C1 and C2 both offer a massive damage increase similar to his weapon. Because Chev is on this banner, I'd recommend Cons>Weapon for now, and in the future it's up to you, both are great (especially with new fate point system).
Have you take into account that in burning teams, with the right animation cancels, it is possible to reliably get 5 cannon shot, thus improving his DPS a lot ?
The cancels avaliable to my knowledge are :
1) When you just fired a canon ball, use Ultimate : during this time burning stacks will triger and once out of burst a new canon ball is already ready.
2) Cancel shooting animation, by holding E for a short amount of time instead of tapping it, the shooting animation is canceled, by donig it 4 times, you can get the 5th cannon shoot.
3) Cancel the animation of Kinich ending his loop shoot. Basically, when he is gaining stacks at some point, when the bar is almost filled up, stoping doing loopshoots will enable skipping the animation of kinich ending loopshots. Canceling this is also enough to guaranty the 5th cannon shot.

He's just as fun to explore as he is to combat since his gameplay is practically a mini-game where you have to maximize his point generation while avoiding enemy attacks.

Lynette's burst pyro infused is very nice. Taunts enemys (even larger bosses), her A4 buffs attack%, refreshes pyro application and cand use deepwood! Can be a good replacement for xiangling

exact same thing, I just wanted chevvy for my arleccino and ended up getting raiden dehya and 2 kinichs before i finally got c6. Words could not describe how bad that felt until I played with him in the open field, instantly one of my fav characters to play as lol

12:33 Minor error here, C6 Thoma does not buff Kinich's normal attack damage (unless you're doing normals outside his E-state). His normals inside his E-state are considered Elemental skill damage (similar to how raiden's normals in her burst-state are all considered burst damage)
additional nerdy information:
18:16 You couldn't get burgeon's in xingqiu+xiangling or yelan+xiangling cause you're applying too much pyro. When an enemy is burning, and when you apply hydro, you're consuming the pyro-aura first hence you can't react with the underlying dendro-aura to create bloom seeds. That's why you actually want slower pyro application e.g. thoma or dehya, this way you will not apply pyro as much. This is actually why burgeon is less popular than hyperbloom, it's much harder to create blooms cause of how the elemental-auras interact.
BUT another way to counteract the pyro-aura is actually using other elements. Theory crafters actually have a name for this e.g. Curry: where you use electro to consume the pyro-aura hence creating more blooms (sample: thoma, fischl, nahida, xingqiu); oven: where you use cryo to consume the pyro aura also making you create more blooms (sample: thoma, kaeya, nahida, xingqiu)
Personally idc about how fast a character can clear, rather how flexible they are if say something goes wrong with your pattern
I’m so happy I got him. My only regret was skipping Emily for burning boost but I got very lucky with the natlan artifacts farming, so I can’t complain.

i think we're gearing up for mavuika being a xiangling replacement w another type of strong buffing (ala bennett/attack, nahida/EM, furina/DMG%) and my theory/guess is she'll give an increase to the whole team crit DMG. a character that gives more significant buffs to crit DMG doesn't exist yet (to my memory), we have a few sources of crit rate buffing in kits via hu tao and rosaria (albeit fairly minor overall), a few cons, and now two artifact sets that give insane bumps to crit rate. i think mavuika will fall in line with the last 3 archons and make character building easier to balance, without making team building more constraining.

Great Kinich guide! I’d also like to mention that 4pc Golden troupe is also very viable on him even if he can’t fully maximize the entire 4 piece. The raw skill damage increase is very good.

12:40 All of his dmg is skill dmg and wont be increased by NA dmg buffs. Thus he also does not trigger bediou since he doesn't do that kind of dmg.
He aint made for spread in first place so ,and he aint burst based so even raiden wouldnt help at all , later on with maybe iansan electro he might be good on spread with iansan on natlan support set who knows
I didn't expect to have so much fun with this guy. He's a just a bit janky in tight places. Surprisingly, I even got to bring him in abyss 12 already, even with 3 bad artifacts. The modern design is still a bit off for me seeing it in GI's world, but it's still super fun.

I don’t think Mavuika is going to be a Xiangling Bennet Combo anymore either. Now I’m thinking that she will power creep one, while Pyro Traveler power creeps the other. I could see them making Pyro Traveler on the level of Harmony MC from Star Rail after how well received that was.
No one has Emily zzz THEATRE consideration for non meta teams is now interesting! Glad you included Xinyan she is a comfy option.

This might be a meme, but Mualani with Scrolls Set and TTDS is kinda funny, because then you get the lower cooldown on the Nightsoul Burst which means more damage, and you get full buffs for Hydro, Dendro, and Pyro from scrolls. And she doesn’t apply much hydro outside of the small rotation and TTDS HP% secondary stat is not wasted on Mualani

I do Arlecchino Overload with Chevreuse and then I do Burgeon Burning with Thoma on Kinich and no Bennet lol

I just use Kinich/Furina/Baizhu/Thoma for comfort - I would never use Bennet as the sole healer on a Furina team lol. Baizhu can also buff burning and burgeon a little bit, and if you give him the ash-graven horn event weapon he will do some damage during the rotation, although I guess giving him thrilling tales is also an option so he can buff attack as well for Kinich. Kinda surprised this wasnt on the test list tbh
I do use a Kinich and Bennet team, just not for most gameplay because it is heavily burst reliant and I dont want to use Furina on those teams, and her damage contribution makes the game a lot more casual.
When Mavuika releases I'd also use her there instead of Thoma if she has off field pyro like people think she might.
I tried Kinich (I have Beacon), TOTM Dehya, Noblesse Bennett and Deepwood Lynette and it helped in abyss!
i still think the wolf's gravestone is better than the craftable one because it's really easy to proc its passive and the ENTIRE TEAM gets the ATK buff..

Grabbed him the minute his banner dropped. Already have his skill crowned and working on the other two talents (I have like no mora). But his gameplay is SOSO fun I love it

While Bennet was really good, I found that he still gave me the results I needed without him, and not worrying about circle impact was nice. I liked Kinich/Furina/Thoma/Baizu. I tried Xinqiu but he applies hydro too quickly, which while that's good for blooms to help Thoma's damage, it also gets in the way of the Burning in between Thoma's Burgeons, so my Nightsoul gauge gain took a hit. Having Baizu gave Dendro resonance for more EM for Thoma, healing for Furina, additional Dendro application, and he was my deepwood holder.
I ran that comp because I don't have Emilie. I suspect a Kinich/Emilie/Mavuika (on cinder city artifact set) + 1 would go ignorant.
As someone who also doesn’t own Emilie, that team you described is my favorite team I’ve tried with Kinich too. Not sure if your Baizhu is using Thrilling Tales or not but I definitely recommend it for sure!
I own Emilie and I liked the Furina, Baizhu n Burgeon Thoma the most tbh. I prefer Emilie with Mualani to keep the Burning, so I can use both for Abyss. Plus my Furina is c2. It was weird he didn’t mention this team as it is one of his better imo
I use this team too. Single target damage is reduced but I'm satisfied with better AOE performance. Funny that no cc tested this team but I saw many people talking about in reddit
The team just heavily falls off as soon as you have a somewhat not horrible build on him, the better his damage is the better Bennett becomes and not using him is just shooting yourself in the foot unnecessarily, circle impact is a cheap excuse to not use him
I actually found Chiori to be a fine Emilie replacement. It's less damage sure, but still some comfy off-field damage

My guess so far is that Mauvika will be either a Xiangling or Dehya upgrade, and Pyro MC will be a Bennett replacement/alternative.
Even for an Archon combining Bennett and Xiangling into one character is just *too* powerful, it's like merging Godzilla and Mothra, the resulting abomination would be WAY too powerful, especially if you throw constellations into the mix and remove Xiangling/Bennett's drawbacks.

Thank you for the guide!! I was super pleasantly surprised at how well the first team plays. I thought Bennett-Xiangling would be the pick yet again, but Deepwood Dehya actually feels fantastic as the primary pyro applicator. I'm glad I can finally put her to good use! Until Mavuika comes out, at least :')
I’ve been using him with Furina, Thoma EM build and Baizhu on Deepwood and Thrilling Tales to great effect. No circle impact feels great
Circle impact is a cheap excuse to not use Bennett, damage wise it’s just shooting yourself in the foot like Jello made clear in the video
@@justawalter9752 when my C0R1 Kinich can hit well over 250K per cannon shot without Bennett, it’s hardly shooting myself in the foot. Also maybe I want to play Bennett on other teams. I’ve got other attack scaling DPS that need him much more
@@LumpySpaceNinja Yeah not using him because he’s not available is completely reasonable. I just have a problem with using circle impact as an excuse to forgo his attack buff. From a logical standpoint Bennett provides 1200 ATK+20% Noblesse, Baizhu frontloads a bit of damage bonus from Furina and gives 48% Atk from TTDS, as you can see this is quite the huge difference and circle impact simply isn’t an issue that justifies it. Not saying you can’t clear with it, but it’s just a damage downgrade which is why Jello and any other credible CC clarifies in their videos that if Bennett is available you should use him and some damage per screenshot you got with that team doesn’t really change that

Man, Mona holding the TTDs (48% Atk which crazy with Kinich weapon), holding the Deepwood, also instant 60 Dmg Bonus, also I have C1R1 so, the first Kinich hit is oneshoting the shit out of this Abyss 💀

A "new Bennet" don't need to be pyro.
May-be Iansan will be a "electro Bennet". any character could be.
May-be Capitano will have a big ATK buff on his burst, and we will have the choice to play him just for this buff, or play him on-field, where he would buff himself.

Kinich is so fun and I appreciate an easy abyss. I got all stars up to 11-3 with a Lv. 3 skill Lv. 70 Kinich lol. mid build with no Obsidian Codex! I highly recommend him

I don’t understand the Nahida pronunciation of “GNAW-hee-duh.” None of the VAs pronounce it that way. It’s always been “nuh-HEE-duh.”
Why did you have to fight the PMA that was in the spiral abyss exactly? Couldn't you just fight the normal one in the overworld? with the new world level overworld bosses are comparable to floor 12 in terms of tankiness.
Kinich seems fun but I don't have or want Emilie or Furina which I've seen as a key pieces in a lot of his teams. Going to wait to see where his teams shake out before making a decision.
I'm playing him a lot with, zhongli (with deepeood), Bennett and xianling. 36 star in the abyss without the last ascenssion, lvl 6 skill talent and using my fichl golden troupe set. Ultra comfy and strong enough.
Kirara works pretty well in the place of zhongli for this team too.
Sasuke and Naruto do seem fun but I really have to save.

All the new natlan characters are fun to play. Fingers crossed chaska is also fun because I'm skipping kinich to save for her and Xilonen.

my overworld team is now kinich chiori kazuha and pyro flex because that way i go as chiori use her skill to switch into kazuha which uses his skill mid air and then swap to kinich mid air and use his spiderman powers to get height

Wondering if it’s still worth (even as a long term goal) going for f2p craftable, if I have a level 90 redhorn? I know passives are wasted but 88.8% crit damage 😬
The buff on abyss and single enemies make him look way better than he is - imagine 5 enemies you would need to tag all of them while mualani could just one shot them - mualani does miss 2 good buffers and xilonen might fix one spot and the other mavuika and that ll be best team in game - you already can buff kinnich with bennett ,furina ,yelan,baizhu nahida and he still just deals decent with all that
I feel like people are sleeping on Mona. My c2 Raiden/Mona/Jean/Furina clears are on par with my c1Neuvilette/c1Furina team.
I use Mona instead of Furina on my Gaming Team and the TTDS is really good for her to use, as Gaming scales on Atk.
Kinichi's teams are _currently_ more functional than Mualani's, so he ends up being better in that regard...

I thought burning DMG is effected by charcter level and EM with no crits? if you run xiangling, then would you do full EM build on her? why do i still read that you should build her on crit and pyro dmg?
The damage of burning is irrelevant, and even buffing it to the max will do low damage. Burning is just a condition to increase Kinich's (and aemilie's if you play her) damage.
Have you tried double dps yet? Maybe with Clorinde and two supports that have long/quick set up, such as Emilie and Thoma.
Why would you use 2 carry dps when both have already enough dmg alone?
Jello speculated in earlier videos that Natlan could make viable teams composed of two on-filed dps with short rotations each. I was following up on that now that we have 2 Natlan dps characters.
OK now that I've watched the video, yes I do have thoughts.
I pulled C1R1 and am considering trying for C2 (if I lose I will save for Mavuika)
1. Super thankful his playable doesn't make me motion sick like I feared.
2. Love that he's not tied to Nahida so I can run traditional dendro on one side and him on the other.
3. I cannot escape BennyXl and now idk what to do for my Navia team.
Overall, I love him. Super fun and it's so satisfying to see 400k+ from a dendro dps.
Also, I did it! I got C6 Chev! I don't have Raiden so idk what I'll use her for but I got her! Lol.
you can use her with Fischl and Arlecchino. Arle performs better with Fischl than with Raiden for her overload team.

@th0r0shvener52 she was one I just wasn't sure about so decided to wait for rerun. Esp because I don't have Zhongli and at the time the only hydro I had was Xq (I have Yelan now). So my team options for her were pretty limited
u should try lynette as a off field pyro instead of xiangling

2:48 I don’t think this is true? It restores nightsoul points which allows you to fire the cannon earlier, not stay in the skill duration for longer

just wondering, when did you start the timer for those pma runs with multiple kinich teams? cause idt you can get sub 30s with c0r1 unless im missing something?
One kinich rotation is 15 sec. 30sec are 2 rotations (the timer start from the first action of the rotation)

Kinich burgeon with Furina, Dehya, Baizhu performs the best for me in every scenario from overworld to abyss
Kinich with bennett is almost as cringe as running xiangling with him I don't enjoy swinging in and out of bennett circle and from my experience xiangling can miss sometimes and thoma can miss sometimes too but just not as bad as xiangling
Dehya on 4pc tenacity and baizhu on thrilling tales 4pc deepwood feels strong enoughk without bennett in the team and was the most consistent DMG wise *(I can get 4-5 big shots from kinich)*
Didn’t see a lot of burgeon stuff with Thoma, why doesn’t that work? Building Thoma right now hoping to work with him.
It does work, and it’s an amazing team tbh. Best would be Furina, Thoma and Baizhu TT. I’m building my Thoma as well as I got him C6. Kitain Spear + Flower oPL, plus Enough recharge and possibly C4 does wonders. The worst part of that team is trying to keep up the energy with Thoma, as he needs 210~% to 260~% depending on cons or fav users
Cause is hard to create a good amount of seeds (almost always you need to use xingchiu for that).
And a team that is thoma + xingchiu hurts kinich personal dmg (specially cause the last slot have to be a healer/shielder)
12:57 nahida’s burst increases all characters attack though if there is a pyro character on the team and that buff is increased if there’s a second pyro which there most likely will be, although em is useless the bonus atk from the burst is good so it isn’t worthless
Sadly she only increases her mark damage. :(
Her ult only buff her skill dmg not for her team(except the EM buff for the active character)
His burst only buff her own dmg and skill interactions depending on the other teammates elements. The only buff she can give is EM

In the Kinich/Xiangling/Furina/Bennet team, is it ok if Xiangling is on a full EM build? or at that point it's just better to use Thoma?
Xiangling do more dmg and give more consistent burning, thoma give less consistent burning but give interruption res.
They both have their pros and cons (xiangling build can be anything, her dmg is not relevant in that team, her ER is the priority)

If you're F2P the best option is always have more characters instead of constellations

Wolfstone is actually better than the new craftable. So yeah
My intended kinich team failed miserably: kinich burgeon with furina and thoma.
He got masacred and i rarely got extra cannon shots. Burning is just easier to use. But he needs defensive supports. Bennett isnt actually a very good healer.
So i switched to:
Yaoyao
Bennett
Dehya
It works GREAT. hits like a truck, survivability is good. I 36 starred abyss for the first time with this team.
Here's my trouble.
I HATE YAOYAO. the only chibi character I've ever tolerated is Nahida because of her unique qualities.
Yaoyao is obnoxious.
But she heals and i already gave her deep wood memories. So she just works.
Yaoyao is totally unnecessary here, Bennett already heals more than enough, go for an offensive option like Furina or Emilie
And yes Bennett IS a good healer idk where you got that from, his healing ticks are every 0.8s which is one of the fastest healing tics in the game and with an actual healing build his healing tics are also one of the highest in the game, there’s a reason why so many teams use him as the sole defensive option

I am using Kinich/Furina/Thoma/Yaoyao and it is working nicely!

if it's not kinich right now, it certainly will be with the archon. Personally I still prefer kinich right now but it's extremely close.
also if you have kinich's weapon or any cons, it's gonna be kinich. Without his weapon and at C0, al haitham might have the edge. he's sort of f2p hero.
Kinich. He has much more DPS in burning hypercarry teams and also work in quickbloom in same level as Alhaitham. Def Kinich.
@@JelloImpactbro that claymore from Natlan's blacksmith r5 is the second better weapon for kinich in whole game, he also uses obsidian codex, becoming a easy character to build up. In f2p wise he is more f2p than alhaitham
Alhaitham should clear faster if everything is perfect (not cause he does more personal dmg, but cause his team do more dmg).
Already got him of course and he is my main dendro damage dealer character as well as my avatar in game at this point. Powerful, fun and a character lacking a one dimensional personality. He feels considerably better than Alhaitham playstyle wise in my perspective.

It’s arguably the least punishing non Bennett team but still punishes you, if Bennett is available use him, if not this team is viable

Why are there so little crit dmg claymores, gaming desperately needs a crit fmg weapon
I kind of disagree with arlecchino and kinich competing for bennet, arlecchino has so many options that would still have insane clear times to the point where I feel like it doesnt matter if she has bennet or not
She without bennet lose like around 30% of her dmg.
Every atk scaler onfield dps compete for bennet sadly, hoyoverse build them balance around him.

If I play her with kazuha(or succrose w/ thrilling) xingqui dehya (or yelan) i vape around 130k consistently
It absolutely does mate, yes clearing with Arlecchino without Bennett is not a big issue but you are just shooting yourself in the foot by not using Bennett, both for Kinich and Arlecchino

Kinich needs bennett more than arlecchino, she can still play overcharge wirh chev and other atk buffers or vaporize, because her cleartime is insane regardless (i could technically play her solo if I wanted to)

My friend, Arle Chev teams do include Bennett, at no point she is a Bennett replacement unless you just take the L and want to do less damage. Also what other Attack buffers do you mean? Bennett provides up to 1200 flat Atk plus buffs from his artefact set. For comparison:
Chevreuse gives you up to 40% ATK which translates to 406 ATK assuming you use her signature which has very high base ATK, with White Tassel it’s only 297 ATK, of course you are shooting yourself in the foot, just think logically
have you tried Kinich with Cyno with the Cinder city set. I think it could be a funky way to play him.
