Tested myself against a buddy who was using this along with Citans earlier, was using a variety of weapons to counter the new trials meta.
The aim assist is absolutely filthy and it can still hit targets who only just got into cover. Best counter I got was Wish Ender when Laning and Fighting Lion when engaging a set up Citans.
You should do the like legendary version of the dmt it came out this season super fun to use

The past few times I've been to Disjunction, they're has always been one person on the other team that sits outside on the edge of the map with either a DMT or that Long Arm scout rifle. It's the legendary version of DMT. I've challenged them to a DMT battle to balance things out. Lol.
I will never not get turned on by the reloading sound of the DMT.

Im glad they gave dmts soul back it's my favorite exotic for pvp and does well in most maps... on smaller maps I prefer to use something else
Love the video :) if you want to try a truly evil loadout, run DMT with a crafted explosive personality gl that has auto loading and disruption break. Guardians get 1 tapped after their shields' broken with it (throw in Orpheus rigs for added sauce)

I just came back to Destiny 2 recently because I finally got usable internet after not having it for several years. Last time I played was a little after Shadowkeep released. I never thought I would say this about a Destiny game, but there is so much to catch up on it's insane. Also, this weapon looks awesome. I'm a huge fan of scout rifles(even though they are always terrible) and this one looks right up my alley. Is this from a quest or just a random drop?
Hello Max, first off, welcome back to D2, a game that's soon to be 'the game you hate most in life that you will play every day'.
Deadmans Tale originally came out last year in a cool exotic mission called 'Presage'. It was similar to how we got Whisper of the Worm from the Whipser mission or Outbreak from the Zero Hour mission.
The difference with Deadmans Tale was that every week you ran the mission you had a chance to get a different random roll on the weapon. They brought back Hawkmoon too and also had random rolls in the Harbinger mission.
Unfortunately Bungie removed all the secret missions from the game, including Presage. Now the only way to acquire random rolls of Hawkmoon and Deadmans Tale is by buying them from Xur when he shows up each week. He will have one roll of each weapon that you can buy for 1 Ascendant Shard.
Also, there is a new exotic mission added to the game that just launched the other day. The new exotic pulse Revision Zero is the reward. This won't have random rolls. Instead it will be craftable. Over the course of about 4 weeks you will eventually be able to select the perks you want in each slot from a small pool of choices.
