- If you didn't know, pulling this kind of move is somewhat common, people think they can get away with screwing over the driver by cancelling their trip mid ride so they don't have to pay, but the driver often notices, to the misfortune of our little opportunist.
I'd like to start off this next chapter of the channel with something a bit more positive, but this just happened, and I think these negative experiences can be just as significant as some of the more positive ones. You never know when something crazy is gonna break out working this job, that's part of what makes it interesting. I didn't honestly think I'd get attacked during this ride, but I can't say I'm ever surprised when stuff goes down like this in an uber.
Uber said they handled her, but I guess I'm thankful she decided to be dumb, in a way. It's these weird and sometimes terrible experiences that can teach some powerful lessons. and ad revenue. pls don't demonetize this video youtube.

We're grateful that you uploaded it but blurred her face. A lyft driver went viral for exposing this customer who was a business owner and she lost her restaurant. People took to Yelp to trash her business after the video went viral, it was sad. In my 7years of doing Uber, I've only had to kick 1 person out for cancelling mid-trip. I told her that I was being pinged to pick someone else up, that's how I know she cancelled. She complained, but I told her she had to go. I've kicked out two other people due to behavior, one in which the guy was being sexist and playing a sexist video on his phone without headphones. I said to him, "As a woman, you expect me to drive you 1-hour away listening to that? I'm not a snowflake but that's offensive." Don't play porn on your phone without headphones when a woman is driving you.

I was an Uber driver for 2 and 1/2 years. Drive only Friday and Saturday nights. I was 64 and female. Have lots of stories, but of the 100’s of people I drove only 2 men actually were ever concerning to me. I believe that ride share should have her face plastered everywhere. She attacked you. None, not one person ever touched me, except to shake my hand. Of course this was 5 years ago.(2016-2018) Why people have become so entitled I don’t understand. I’m writing this comment 7/8/23

Sorry buddy that happened to you. I use Lyft and Uber a lot when I travel and vaca. You folks are the best. It's such a better thing than the rip off you got every time I had to use a cab (and that was a lot because of travel/work). All of my experiences with both services have been great. I try to always give a good rating because the service's I've received were alway great, car clean the driver friendly. This has been my experience for years and I've had to travel about a week a month out of state in large cities. I'm sure some one had had an issue but not me and my employees.
I give 5 stars and a good tip and I try to also give a small cash tip. That's my choice and I'm not telling anyone to do differently but they get the worst of the worst riding in their personal car.
