Brother, I know you are tired when you make these videos but it's actually not normal. Please do a sleep test (I had to myself) and I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and I can see it all over you. Please take care of your health. Nothing but love.
Question for you, you mentioned the holographic…couple of questions: PRINTING: When we loaded the holographic substrate onto our HP Latex 360, it loaded fine but later we noticed the material started rolling off of the spool. Printer told us that it was loose or that it came off its spool (keep in mind this was a brand new roll) and we looked under and sure enough, it was. Any ideas on how to coarse correct that? CUTTING: do you cut holographic on the Graphtec? We have the 8600, and we had issues with it cutting correctly. We cut plenty of 3.4 and 6mil matte vinyl with no prob. As soon as we get the holographic in the cutter, it’s like the reflectiveness is messing with the sensors in seeing the registration marks so when it started cutting the stickers the cut was like 1/4 to 1/2 inch off from the actual design. As soon as we printed onto a matte 3.4mil, it was fine. Any thoughts or tips on that? Your input is appreciated.
good info for people looking to buy especially after your 3 year use. also daron do you ever use the built in estimator? what are you charging for banner and hp prime air vinyl sqft?
Pretty useful content. we are running Latex 335 and a Graphtec CE 6000 combo. We however face issue with sharpness on the edges of Registration marks. Vertical part of the registration mark seems to spread a bit, though this is not the case with the artworks being printed. We have tried a different profile oprimized for small text, but the improvment is very little and the problem still persists.
Thank you for sharing all this helpful information! I am looking into buying a printer for my business. Where can I get the calculator you were mentioning on this video?
hi I am going to buy a used hp latex 310, is this printer good enough to print high definition imagines ? to print on canvas wall art, adhesive canvas, and vinyl for wallpaper with abstract imagines
Love the channel bud very relevant topics for the small locally owned design + print service me and my friends are learning how to run in small town MT, USA. Keep crushing the content we greatly appreciate it!
I had the same problem with my hp latex 365 printer. Turned out the electricity voltage fluctuating was the culprit. Bought a good voltage stabilizer and everything is fine now.
What's the average cost per square foot for the inks so far? What's total square foot you get from a set of ink on this machine printing at high quality?
It's usually around $0.15. The square footage from a cartridge depends on what you're printing. If it's full coverage, it can go fast. If you mainly do stickers like me, it lasts for a long time.
Do you have any problem running a color calibration with the Hp prime gloss air vinyl? Mine will run for a few minutes and stop, which requires me to reboot the printer.
On your 50 yard roll of vinyl, does a set of ink cartridges last the whole roll? Just trying to figure out sort of a cost reference as to how long the inks may last on average ( i know the coverage can change depending on the quality of print). 50 yard roll of vinyl and then the inks last 25% or 50% or all of the roll of media. Thanks, enjoy your channel. Considering getting an HP latex after watching all of your great info.
For my typical orders, I can print many rolls using a single set of inks. If I'm running a heavy saturation job, them some colors will go faster than others. Yellow and black tend to be the colors I go through the most. Ink cost is around $0.15 per square foot.
@@ttms Thanks for the reply. Really appreciate all of the information you put out. That is good to know. I did purchase your calculator last night. I am not sure if it was you or someone else who was saying not to go with the 315. When I looked at the specs it seems like they all take the same ink cartridges. But someone was saying it is cheaper to run the and 365. I guess I do not understand the reasoning unless it just lays down less ink. Again, Thanks for all of your info on your journey.
I didn't remove it when I moved mine. If it's going to be angled you'll want to remove it because there is ink in it. Mine moved and was lifted flat and it was fine.
Just got my HP 115 print and cut combo all assembled today. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the printer connected to the internet. I'm definitely not educated when it comes to networks, proxy servers and all that other stuff. Any info you can give to help?
I run them the same as everything else, I just mask them afterword. I usually add $20-100 depending on the size of the job. With my new calculator, you can add that as a "extra". Or you could add it as a lam or a lam+tape.
Good info as always. Our HP 335 has been awesome. Finally starting to get more sticker jobs on it, but banners are a cinch. Your videos were one reason I pushed my boss to get a latex machine.
Thanks for sharing. Its never easy and everyones experience is different. One thing I would like to say is that I dont think this is a fair comparison for anyone that is doing a lot of printing. If you have only replaced a couple of print heads in 2 years then you either have really bad quality prints and no concern for actual colour or you are not printing much. HP print heads degrade through usage and depending on the model would be replaced around every 4 to 8 litres of ink through them which is per 2 colour channel. This means over 3 years an average signage business would go through around 20 print heads. This is to ensure colour consistency and no degrading prints. This then makes the cost of ownership and running the printer expensive but if you need to do repeat jobs then this is whats needed or you can never match up a job. If you are doing this for your own work then it comes down to pride. Again thanks for sharing but thought I would also add some thoughts. If you have your first print, compare it with your current print and see the colour shift. Also they need to be constantly callibrated, this is another pain point and time consumer. They also suck energy like no tomorrow. Other than this HP is great.
Imagine being so lame that you feel the need to find a video of someone that started a small business and has turned it in to a large scale print shop and telling them they have possibly the worst video on TH-cam, or you tube as you put it. In 14 years on here, this is the worst???? This isn’t even the bottom 100 of the videos I’ve seen today.

Any link for repairing the wire sir

I always having problems with 3M media. Keeps printing out the wrong sizes. What do you do to fix that?

@@ttms Thanks. I mainly do full coverage prints, banners and signs mainly. Still wondering if it will be worth it to get this machine for that job
sir i'm crying
why the hp latex 375 machine has an error and the code 25.1:10 appears
How often are you using this printer? I hear they don’t like sitting idle
The longest I ever let it sit was a month and it powered up and ran just fine. I usually run it once a week. The HP latex is the best for low use.
You mentioned one of your papers was tissue paper. What is the model of that paper and does it print well on you hp?
I bought the calculator and love it. Well done! $4 well spent.
Thanks!
where did you get the calculator from I'm interested I just purchase the hp latex 115 will be delivered the 1st week of January 2022
You can get it on my website - timetomakesomething.com/shop/
thank you
Did anyone else have AirPods in when someone knocked and started looking around 😂
Omw😂..that just happened to me😂🎉
Do you have any problem running a color calibration with the Hp prime gloss air vinyl? Mine will run for a few minutes and stop, which requires me to reboot the printer.
The profile has a bug. Us the HP optimal prime profile. Same thing but no bug.
How about those glasses??? What kind are they? I like them and need some new ones myself. 🙂
this is where I get my glasses www.zennioptical.com/

@@millunare3375 They're the same cost to run. The 365 is just faster and has a few more features. Ink wise there is no difference.
If you're moving your printer, do you need to remove ink & maintenance cartridges?
The manual will have that info for any printer
I didn't remove it when I moved mine. If it's going to be angled you'll want to remove it because there is ink in it. Mine moved and was lifted flat and it was fine.

Do you know anything about the HP 115?
Yes.
It’s gonna change your life…I went 1 night sleeping in hospital and got the machine…do it bro
Wish they would make a 24" printer for smaller shops. I'm right on the edge of going into a bigger shop. Growing pains. Ug!!
I'll see what I can find while I'm at printing united
Omg your making me yarn!!!! Lol but thanks very informative.
It's only when the camera is on.
Buy a Roland
Why?
Possibly the worst video on you tube. Would have been good, however you keep yawning in our face!
Out of the 800 million plus videos on youtube, this is "probably the worst!" I'm so sorry for wasting your time.
If this is possibly the worst video on TH-cam, it must be the first video you’ve ever watched. Who cares if the guy yawns?????

You Tube most be much more exciting than TH-cam then.
You have yawned Twice , If we are boring you , we could come back at another time .... Good information , thank you !!!!!
I know. I have a yawning probably. I need to take better care of myself.
Just tickling you sir , thank you for the video !!!!!
