Sims 3 had plant babies. After you tried for baby you got a germinated seed as I recall and then you had to plant it. It grew for a few days then was ready to harvest basically. But, whoever harvested the baby was listed as its parent as I recall. And I don’t think the non plant Sim parent was listed as a parent for some reason. I may be remembering that wrong. Been a while since I played Sims 3 as a plant Sim.
I know in the Sims 2 the sim would just produce a toddler plantsim. There were no babies. The toddler would then immediately become an adult after. No other lifestages.
Yeah, it was a bit frustrating. I didn't mind them starting as toddlers and the whole child of the ideal plantsim thing was kind of cool, but skipping child and teen didn't work for me. It's the main reason I barely played them. If I recall correctly, plant sims could have babies the normal way and those babies were not plant sims. They only had a plantsim toddler if they "sprouted" a baby or something like that.
@@plumdutchess I thought they were the genetic child of the parent and the ideal plantsim? They definitely only had one official parent, but I think they did take genetics from the ideal plantsim.
In The Sims 2, PlantSims are a permanent life state and they can produce asexually to make PlantSim toddler clones of themselves (which have all the same skills/personality as the parent and apparently look more and more elf-like with each generation). TS2 PlantSims skip the child and teen ages. In The Sims 3, PlantSims again are a permanent life state. They can't get pregnant, but they can produce a seed to grow a PlantSim baby; apparently, "if you have a Sim get pregnant, but then the father turns into a Plantsim afterwards, there is a chance the baby would be a PlantSim."
It would be unlikely, but lovely if the baby turned to a green toddler as they aged up. I mean, since the babies sometimes have different skin tones than either sim parent. But that’s just wishful thinking.
By using the MC command mod, you can turn a certain Sim into a Plantsim, then turn it into an infant. However, it will grow tall whenever it gets the animation of picking off leaves from their arms.
Okay, I have to know where you got that clothing for the baby. That is so cute! I’m so tired of seeing the same butterfly and monkey onesies. My 100 baby challenge could use some differentiation every now and again.
Sims 3 had plant babies. If your sim planted the forbidden fruit, then harvested when ready, they would produce a plant-clone baby of themselves. Green and with all the needs and benefits of a plant sim permanently. It would grow up looking just like the sim that harvested it. I was really wanting a plant baby here in Sims 4.
Sims 4 plant sims SHOULD have a baby with permanent plant sim life state. So annoying that EVERYTHING IN The Sims 4 is a watered down version of the previous games.....🙄🥺😥

If we just did a 10sec google search then we wouldn’t get these brilliant & hilarious videos and I for one NEED these daily videos in my life! 😆😄

You are right. And same happened in sim 2
All the cute little details like that are what keep me from being too absorbed into playing TS4. I miss them too much.

Weren't they also clones of the parent?
@@strangeduckling Oh, yeah! They were!
@@StoryGirl83 Sprouted, that's the word!

Love that you called the toilet "the throne". My Grandad used to call it that, he passed away in January.
Love your videos!

I'd love to see the baby aged up! Even if only in a community post or as a short 🌱

Plantsims were my favorite occult in Sims 2 & 3. I would love if EA have them a major update in Sims 4.

YOU NEEED TO WOOHOO THE NIGHT WRAITH!!!! It’s an npc that only appears when your spell caster sim develops the curse of the night wraith

What happens when a werewolf and a vampire have a baby?
i would assume the exact same thing that happens when you have any other 2 occults have a baby
Well depends, You could have a wolf or a vamp as well. And if you're lucky you could have a hybrid
you look so much better green lol adding that to my list of nicities
Above all, this IS an educational channel… a Google search is just too boring
You should have a baby with the Night Wraith or have two Servos have a baby together?
Servos can't reproduce (though I am sure there is a mod out there for that.)
I really like your voice and dialect. ☺
The taunting when you first met the guy had me dead 🤣🤣
I want longer videos 😭, I LOVEEE YOUR VIDEOS ❤️

TS2 Plantbabies are the best. Just spawn them and they grow to adult in 4 days.
They had plant babies..the girl shook her head and sprinkled something onto the ground. a plant baby formed.
“love your summer wear 🙄” creased
I wish you would of aged planty up to a toddler to see if it's skin will turn green! Ah man, now I'm gonna have to do the experiment myself 😪
What if you age the baby up? The supernatural states don't ever kick in until later...
Sims 2 has plant toddlers that would age straight to adults. 😂
I’m just gone say it how the baby come out black but both the parents was white 😂😂😂😂
'Hey, wanna cross-pollinate?'
I wish sims could be Born plants sims.
They definitely need to make it an occult
Yes.
omg I was just watching your Barbie lp
He is brown because he is a root :D
Rn I need a break from America and need some good ol sims!!!
You fucking asked for this man 😂
👍🌻
I think you had to plant new plantsims
We need a werewolf and vampire or witches
Age him up
does he grow into one like vampires?
There is a mod to make it permanent.
How can you see from her "eyes"? Is that a mod?
Sims 4 has first person mods base game
Maybe this is racist, but when she was sitting down afterbthe transformation, it looked like ALL she was wearing was that shirt. 😅
Click bait nonsense as always 😅.
