How I become a YouTube Partner with 3000 watch hours (New Early Access, but Not Monetized yet)

Did you know you can become a TH-cam partner with just 500 subscribers and 3000 public watch hours? You won’t be fully monetized through google Adsense but there’s other ways to generate a revenue.

Does 365 days of watch hours stop counting after you apply for the YPP ? Lets say that I’m getting close to achieve 3K watch hours , does it lock those 3K watch hours till you get 4K watch hours ? Because you have 365 days to achieve those 4K , great video , thanks for the help

Thanks for watching! Well from the research I’ve done, apparently the 3k hours don’t get locked in. You still need to hit 4000 in 365 consecutive days to qualify for the monetized ad YPP.
So for example, if you have 3500 hours and only a few days to reach 4K. Some of those hours will be lost if you don’t reach 4K in time :(

Unfortunately not, you can only earn revenue through the different streams I mentioned. You gotta hit 4000 for ad revenue

I already applied for 3k watch hour ypp.. and my current watch hour is 3850... Can I still apply for the 4k watch hour ypp so that i can earn from google ads? And how to apply if I already achieve my 4k watch hour?

TH-cam won’t let you link your bank info until you hit a payment threshold. When you go to the “Earn” tab and look to the right you will see “not ready for payment” & “no action needed right now”

I don’t think you can change it. TH-cam determines your threshold based on your location
