But the biggest difference-- New Zealand PR holders can't travel visa free to Australia But Australian PR holders can work, travel and live permanently in New Zealand.
Just stumbled up on your podcast/video, it's great to know about your experience, having lived in both countries, we have migrated from New Zealand in 2006 to Australia, I am a citizen of both countries, dual Australian/NZ citizen, in actual sense Australia change the rules decades ago for New Zealanders arriving in Australia, New Zealanders arriving after 26 February 2001 aren't permanent residence automatically, have to be granted a permanent Visa, there are disadvantages as well moving as a New Zealand citizen, because you don't qualify for everything. I can relate the experience, my mother had New Zealand PR, she wasn't NZ citizen, so we had to renew visas for her every five years, in Australia, thankfully now she holds Australian citizenship after number of years, it took us a long long time.
Hello.. it would be of great help if you would share why you felt you should move from New Zealand to Australia. I've heard about this from some ppl now and am very curious to know
I think I already did a high level one. Have you checked this one? th-cam.com/video/RfH31HjKSqk/w-d-xo.html Please let me know if you still have questions.
Please note that no visa will be converted to another visa automatically. Once a person complete his work visa period he should apply for a residence visa. If the INZ satisfy, with your application they may issue the visa. To apply for the PR you should complete your residence visa period of 2 years. After successful completion of your PR period you can apply for CITIZENSHIP of NZ. INZ is not the department concerned to issue citizenship. If I am right,it is the NZ internal affairs department. It is up to the departments concerned whether to issue the visa or citizenship to the applicant. In short, please note that no convertion is possible automatically in all the above cases.
Hello Ma'am! Good day! I am already 33 years old right now and is currently working as a Caregiver here in Japan. I've been working here for almost 4 months now and is planning to apply for a Student's Visa under the Diploma in Community Healthcare and Support after my 3 years of work here in Japan. I'm very much interested to move to New Zealand but I got worried since I've read a lot of experiences from other people that it's so hard to get Permanent Residency in New Zealand. Is it really true? And I'm not sure if I will be able to pass the IELTS exam since it's one of the primary requirements if I prefer to apply for Student's Visa.
Yes IELTS has been made mandatory in the recent times. So we cannot really skip that. Regarding Permanent Residency, it mostly depends on you character requirements as well as your income. It was not difficult for us. But I heard it is getting a bit tough now
Vidya, Thank you for creating this informative video, Can you let me know if we are graduating from top 10 universities in UK, still I need to give the IELTS exam, If yes I can show the last IELTS exam which I gave before coming to UK in 2022? Please acknowledge my request and provide an answer as per your convenience, Thank you.
Currently! how long it takes to get pr with student visa for example if i apply for master degree MHC? And another question is Australia better or New Zealand for this
After 2 year work we don't get PR ?? Is PR and Residency different I thought they both are same things ! My friend went to NZ on work viza and he said he applied for pr after two years of work in NZ.
Apart from the fact that we miss our family and friends in India. New Zealand has given me everything else including the safe environment especially for Girls/ Women to be in.

Hi Divya I'm from Kerala, completed my MCA and have 3+ years of experience as a Software developer/web developer role, could you please clarify my doubts regarding job seeking in New Zealand. Can I apply for a job from here through virtually. If so what are the points I should taken care of?? Is there any documentation needed for the equivalency of UG, PG certifications?
Hi Sajeev.. yes you can apply for Jobs from India. However, I always say the chances are minimal. I made a couple of videos related to this. Please watch my Playlist "Working in NZ" for more information
Hello madam, I have job offer letter from New Zealand employer. I got job offer letter, INZ 1113 Employer form, and Advertisement copy . I done my medical and PCC in India (home country) . Can I apply online, what is the status for essential skill work visa. Please suggest me madam. Thank you Regards Santhosh
Hi Santhosh. Firstly, hearty congratulations on your new job 👏 I am a bit confused on the question. NZ1113 is an employer sponsored work visa and I think you wouldn't apply online. But the employer will do it on your behalf. Are you able to please clarify?
First of all thank you for sharing your experience. Please help me to know one thing. Is it possible to come to NZ(employer sponsorship or student way) and gain 1-2 years of experience in your field ? and if that field job is also there in Australia then apply there, I think Australian consider NZ experience as local experience, which is very important to get a job. If we get the job in Australia then Australian experience there will also be countable in PR points. Which can make the a pathway to PR easy. Australia is super expensive, once we have the job things become easy. I am a software professional, so I was thinking in my professional this might be possible. Please advise, is this is possible? Thanks in Advance.
Hi Nishant, you have got many questions and thoughts I see. I only know one can migrate fron NZ to AUS if they are a NZ citizen. Haven't really heard about anyone migrating without being a citizen. Hope it helps
Even Kiwis want to come to Australia. Mostly those who can't get Oz PR go for NZ. Australia is much bigger, cheaper to live and has more opportunities.
But the biggest difference--
