Even though I don't have a background in Science or Engineering, but I always appreciate these fields. Thing I couldn't cope up with in the Indian educational scenario is the structure of the system. Due to the incredibly large student base, the structure of imparting education is largely centralized plus homogeneous. Unlike some developed countries, here the Central Government creates and implements education policies and the states follow them fully or mostly. As schools are run by few Central Bodies like state education boards, schools emphasize on how to score more. That shouldn't be the purpose of education. What our schools and the education system has failed altogether in India is, there is no concept of critical thinking and personalization among the students. All they are forced to do is, practice and catch the patterns of the problems, remember and pages, go through the previous exam papers, identify all the patterns and prepare that way for the exams. This won't bring us too far in the long run.

The 10-15 minutes of success you see is the result of 10,000+ hours of hard work, endured over years of relentless pressure and daily struggle. If you had ever experienced that level of perseverance, these words would never have left your mouth. We solve problems that even seasoned teachers fail to answer. Haha you picked up the infamous (and highly unnecessary) rotation problem from jee advanced 2016. Ignore the indian kids showing their prowess anyone who understands physics at a deep level knows this questions options are inherently flawed (in the angular momentum, they dont account for orbital momentum of the discs, only for the spin momentum about O)
I don't see very many videos on that aspect and none actually solving for the value of orbital and axial momentum about center of mass. So I will definitely make a video on that! I can't say I 100% caught that error because by that time I had looked at what answers were right. But I was scratching my head and saying wait a minute. So I hope that accounts for something. The coolest part of this problem is to be in the know that one answer is wrong!
honestly ,i can't sit in position , doing a single subject and you have the balls of patience to do a single question for 6 hours , I can never match your power.
Solving a question and making students understand it is a big difference he can solve this question way faster than us just taking 6 hours to make us understand how to solve
I appreciate your patience But those who are saying it is impossible to do in 10minutes are wrong Actually this guys is explaining al concepts so he took 6hrs In actual an intelligent IIT JEE aspirant can solve it in 10-12 minutes and there were students who solved that( every year iit releases questions data that how many candidates unattempted it how many were wrong how many correct, that is available on internet if you see that you will find there were actual 800-900 students solved it in 10minutes -12minutes) It is not impossible what you say, bro you haven't seen India's Mathematics students they are deadly
I can relate to ya bruh i used to spend hours n hours to solve complex physics problems i thought it would help me with the brainstorming but I was wrong if I had just practised problems easier yet that are important for these typa competitive exams it would have been far better. Some questions are just set to distract you and waste your time on completely nothing. And you're supposed to skip those
@abortive1581 yeah I mean if someone is extremely lucky and can guess answers then yeah . Since most of Jee is MCQ based and not entirely integer based .
@abortive1581 Jee has -ve marking and also partial marking, the options are set in such a manner that all guessers out there can be awarded with -ve integers
@abortive1581 Negative marking for incorrect answers prevents guessing more or less. If for a question, even a single incorrect option is marked, no matter if you have marked the correct answers too, it is a deduction of 1 or 2 marks, depending on which section of the paper you are attempting.
Hello guys, I'm an Indian interested in physics more than any college or exam. I observe around myself i often found myself surrounded by problems waiting to be solved. When I was in 9th standard and studied motion in a line [with const acceleration ] (there was also a basic part of rotational motion. So when i studied that as usual i started finding this theme around me and i saw a system of two wheels connected with a rid (of two broken toy cars maybe) in which one was bigger and other wheel was smaller. So, it to some extent look like this, i just got that when we'll apply some force the bigger wheel will be revolving faster and at larger radius, opposite the smaller ine.. and i just created a question by assuming that radius of first wheel be r, second is 2r, rod of length 1m is revoleved at this, after this time gound the ration of displacement by both. And that went really really hard. That i solved that till the end of the year. At that time i was having no clues about centre if mass , angular acceleration and terms like that, maybe i was pre-owned by some basic ideas of some of these basic terms but nothing even close to enough to conpete this. But anyways i solved that by simple methods finding lengths of chords of circle from 9th 10th grade basic knwolege and all that. But not only this ques it was and is like my daily routine. And i am now in 11th standard and have practice and knowlge of advanced concepts which will never be enough to end. But anyway now i can do ques like this( specially of mechanics) without even pen and paper sometimes. A TRAGEDY!
This is just ultimate. The thought process and effort here is top notch. Well done buddy. You have truly done justice to this question and the physics behind it. Much appreciated😊.
the dedication and attachment to a question is a different feeling and it's really beautiful to encounter here and truly a piece of art and i really wanna repost this video (love you for such a video it really make me think different for problem solving and personally i also love problem solving really and it's really reliving and rewarding when i solve my problem ) lots of love from india

Plus exam point of view this question was meant to be skipped..

Damn. As an indian, why are you all so toxic. Like, you all will definitely fail at a calc bc question without prior knowledge of a calculator. This man did this question without any prior jee questions practice. He built up on what he knew and learnt more. I guess it is surprising to see someone learn and think and not memorize
This is one of the many reasons the folks of the other countries dislike Indians. Mostly because these toxic ones are always at the forefront and many start to believe that these toxic people are the face of India and define our country.
Finally someone that gets it. Most Indians seem to just memorize and the go around dik measuring with others on how quickly they applied the memorised knowledge. This is about learning and being "creative". I'm not from India but this approach of those commentators is, in my opinion, annoying and not a good one
These have a highly false sense of superiority associated with jee prep, most of these people are gonna end up in a life of mediocrity anyway, whereas someone who actually spends their time on such problems and reasons their way into the solution ON THEIR OWN will develop the aptitude for novelty and innovation

Also, congratulations for this epic video. Don't listen to the immature cool kids. Keep up the good work 👏 👍 💪
You were mentioned in unacademy nexus video, good work BTW!
nd this is something you would never find Indian school or coaching teachers doing - sitting with a problem and meditating on it for hours. The 10-15 minutes of success you see is the result of 10,000+ hours of hard work, endured over years of relentless pressure and daily struggle. If you had ever experienced that level of perseverance, these words would never have left your mouth. We solve problems that even seasoned teachers fail to answer. Imagine beating a experience of 25 years. You can’t even begin to grasp the level of cognitive processing and resilience required. Sit down with an IITian (without any quota, and with a good rank), and you'll immediately recognize the vast difference in skill and understanding, developed at such a young age. It's disappointing how ignorant people like you can be. I challenge you to say this in front of an IITian-they’ll teach you something valuable.

JEE ADVANCED 😊
True beauty of fundamental problem solving
The student who guessed all options then came back home and found it to be true must have felt like GOD
Specifically this question lol .
Wait if you guess an answer do you get the marks for the question with no working out? If that is the case then the jee exam is immensely flawed.

A TRAGEDY!
