If you want to see Jinx in a different universe I recommend checking out the Odyssey skin line cinematic! Get Jinxed was one of the first animations fortiche did for riot before making arcane, was the beginning of something huge!

To clarify the 2nd song "Get Jinxed" is the song that Jinx was listening to in Ep 4 when she was working on her trinkets.

@@OntheSidePH Yup, also their first music video. And ALSO by Fortiche productions, the same animation company that did Arcane. So it has a lot of nostalgia attached to it for many people.
@@OntheSidePH Yeah, I believe this came out 2-3 days before she dropped. I had been playing LoL with a handful of Champions, just willy-willy, learning the game for a year or so. Since the Warwick reset, or so.
Once I saw this MV....I knew. I was ready to pay, the moment Jinxy was released. Then....hell began for so many players, because...
I played Jinx. Only Jinx. Every game. Blind. No matter the position. Not matter the team. Every. Game. I am sure I was hated fiercely. I wasn't trying to be a dick. I just had to play Jinx.
Eventually, I figured out my playstyle, and when it was not cool to play her. Even got some back up characters, or dropped out of a game if I couldn't have my Blue Haired Nutjob. +5 years. Jinx was my everything League.
Needless to say....I was excited to see Arcane. :D
The Enemy MV is sensational. I was just like you, I went in as I already knew the (equally sensational) TV series, and Jeez, it was at the same time entertaining and haunting. The fact that it's been codirected by one of the directors of the series and that the quality of animation and the art are as GOOD as in the series totally blows my freaking mind.
Exactly our thoughts!! I think this was released before the series, but it seems better to watch AFTER you finish Season 1. The rap part with Powder/Jinx was mesmerizing. This could easily pass off as an extended cut of one of the episodes or something 👌
I recommend watching "Warwick: The Wrath of Zaun" Cinematic, The character in the cinematic has been speculated to appear in Arcane season 2 and it might be someone that we knew in Arcane season 1 ;)
Oh yeah!! I remember being curious about that at the end of season 1!
it's amazing that in the ENEMY music video, they never spoiled a single moment in Arcane 🤣🤣🤣

i know its been a while but Heimerdinger is one of the only topsiders that Ekko likes! Ekko actually dislikes a lot of champions

There's more League of Legends cinematics especially the skinline of "Spirit Blossoms" a 2 part cinematic skinline story including the new champion, the 1st part is "The Path : The Ionian Myth" and the 2nd part is "Kin of the Stained Blade" a 10 minute long cinematic this will be longest one and "The Lunar Revel" skinline 👍😁

short summary of the lore if you guys want:
-enemy had a bunch of misleading things, it was more like a trailer with a twist than a music video. But also it served to show how powder and ekko were friends (since they were the youngest in the group).
-Get jinxed was the music video introduction of Jinx when she was released in the game back in 2013.
-Piltover and Zaun is a cinematic non-cannon for League's card game. yall should watch all Legends of Runeterra tales cinematics cuz theyre AWESOME.
-warriors is cannon. Lux (blonde mage) is Garen's (swordsman warrior) sister. She is secretly a mage, in their nation (Demacia) mages are hunted down and killed or put in prison.
The blonde guy is actually from piltover, Ezreal, he is a explorer and spends more time outside the country stealing ancient artifacts.
Kai'sa (purple girl) is a girl who fell in the void (another dimension full of monsters) at a very young age, somehow she survived to adulthood and now she hunts monsters from the void.
The guy fighting Cait and Vi is urgot, He's story has WAAAY to much things going on for him to appear in season 2, maybe a name drop at best. and yes, cait and vi are "very good friends".....one could say they are the "best of friends" lmao.
The guy fighting garen is Sylas, a mage who created a revolution in demacia that lead to a civil war between mages and common folk there. He ran to the border and came back with freiljordians to fight demacia, but lux used her magic to awaken Galio (giant statue) to protect them. Galio is a anti-magic statue that absorved magic for so long that became able to move.
Oh wow! Great breakdown! All of Tales of Runeterra is not canon then? We were gonna check that out next!!
Yup this was our second time watching Warriors, pretty awesome ❤❤ we watched it along with other season cinemarics like Awaken
The Jinx is Arcane is technically a prequel to the Jinx in the game as the Jinx in Get Jinxed is just and older Jinx

Garen already knew that Lux has magic..They are from Demacia where a city that HATES magic...The guy with the chains is Sylas who was imprisoned in Demacia because he has magic..Lux is the reason why he is free.Garen is protecting Lux from getting caught with her magic..
The place where they are fighting are the most front wall of DEMACIA where all soldiers knew that Lux has magic and they just ignore it because they dont care..
Oooh I see!! Didn't know Demacia hated magic so much. Kinda like how Heimer doesn't like magic as well

What happens in Arcane is only a tiny part of Runeterra and in a way it is the past, the characters currently have more history, beware of spoilers, not everything is piltover and zaun.

if you want to see more of Arcane's character you should see "Ekko: Seconds", "Warwick: The Wrath of Zaun", "True Damage - Giants", and "Welcome Aboard" as well, you can also see "Call of Power" to learn more about who helped Jayce and got him interested in runic magic. I recommend you to watch also all the other cinematics and music videos that riot has to offer, but the ones mentioned before are the most related perhaps to the Arcane characters.

"Get Jinxed" was Riots FIRST EVER music video. It was also released as jinx was released. Its quite old now, but still great.

@@OntheSidePH Also, forgot to say this, but when Silco comes to Jinx's hideout and yells at her until she says "Thats me!" In episode 4 or 5, you can hear this song playing in the background. She was listening to her own theme song lol.

''Get Jinxed'' was kinda like a diss to ''Here comes vi'' which is the theme music of the Vi. And also Jinx released after Vi and Riot teased her on Vi champion page where she spray paint over her information and insult/mock her. Jinx also has the same splashart as Vi but the background is ruined.

I played Dota a lot growing up! Only played LoL a few times, but only casual modes like ARAM. Around 2020 I started getting into TFT/Valorant, and when Arcane released that's when I got really interested in the lore :)
