    I grew up in Yakima and watched my dad and Wally Pease fish together often. Wally had a fishing show on KYVE in Yakima and my dad was the GM at the station. My dad is still alive but can't go fishing anymore and gave me all of his gear. There was about 100 brand new lures from back in the '80's in several boxes along with almost a dozen rods and reels that dad and Wally used. This video brings back great memories - THANKS!

    Do you ever keep a fish to eat? Wondering where in Eastern Washington you go to Salmon Fish?

    • @AnglerWestTV
      @AnglerWestTV  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You just have to check regulations and think about which fish are best to eat ethically and for food quality. At times, most of the Columbia and it's tribs have salmon. Around each dam is typically a starting point. Look at more of the AWTV episodes from the Columbia and they will get you started. Just search Colombia salmon.

    Hey, just an FYI, its illegal to fully remove that bull trout from the water like you did. There are very specific regs for that due to their protection in the Yakima drainages. Gotta keep them in the water while removing the hook.
