Technically, she must have been possessed here, too, because she got possessed at the end of the fight in season one. But I think they said somewhere that the possessing wasn't a sudden thing but happend slowly, so maybe the dean hasn't been 'present' there and what we see is Perry... I don't know.

I'm not sure, but I think when they find out that the dean has possessed Perry in season three, they say that it must have been right after the fight. Which also makes sense because at the end of the fight they kill the dean (or at least they think so). Possessing Perry was the only thing she could do to not die.
This was a fun episode. The multi-camera aspect was a nice change of pace, and it was cool to get to see the villain (who did a great job) interact directly with our protagonists.
Totally overlooking the fact that Laura's foot got detached and she's probably without one now and instead focusing on how similar Carmilla looks to Olivia Wilde.

One of my favorite things about this show and the movie is that they keep coming back to things and showing them in a different light. For instance, Laura wiping Carmilla's mouth as they both smile here reminds of the last time Laura tried to do that and Carmilla recoiled because she hated "being wiped up like a dribbling child" on top of the embarrassment of being bested by humans. This shows that she doesn't mind it when she feels loved and accepted by Laura.

I had to watch this three times. Once for the sheer joy of watching CARMILLA. Once to watch all the Hollstein goodness and once to watch all the Laferry in the background. And then I watched it over again because why not.
It was so different with the different camera angles! It's like a whole new experience!! Ahhhhhhh! I'm hooked. LaFerry is so canon, like... come on! Have you seen the way they look at each other, cheek kiss and everything? Perry is sooooo in love, I need season 2 immediately!!! Although I miss Danny (because, let's be honest, we all love Danny because of... reasons), Hollstein and Laferry cuteness killed me. I'm talking from beyond the grave here. Laura and Carmilla are so adorable as a couple, I can't. My ovaries are going to explode with season 2, I'm sure. AND IT WILL BE WORTH IT!
I genuinely hope the filming quality stays this way because I like seeing the action. Literally this whole season I've been waiting to see Carmilla eat some people and for the camera angle to change and my wish has been granted.

Great episode! I like how Laura had all these memories and traditions of what her and her dad did for Christmas...she was bummed that it wasn't the same. But people do always make new traditions when they get into a relationship. And if she had went to her dads, what would Carm have done for Christmas. And I like Carms very nonchalant way of when Laura says "Eat her for Christmas..." Carm goes, "ok..." and then we hear the vampire growl...that was perfect for her character. She knew she was gonna protect Laura either way. And the wiping the blood off the corner of her mouth at the end, perfect touch! All in all, excellent episode!

Great episode! I like how Laura had all these memories and traditions of what her and her dad did for Christmas...she was bummed that it wasn't the same. But people do always make new traditions when they get into a relationship. And if she had went to her dads, what would Carm have done for Christmas. And I like Carms very nonchalant way of when Laura says "Eat her for Christmas..." Carm goes, "ok..." and then we hear the vampire growl...that was perfect for her character. She knew she was gonna protect Laura either way. And the wiping the blood off the corner of her mouth at the end, perfect touch! All in all, excellent episode!

Damn I never realized how much I wanted to see the characters from different angles. Love it hahaha
Okay okay, the tweets during the count down, new camera angles, christmas sweaters, torches, disembowling, the overly close.... My eyes... AUGH and speaking about their eyes.. A lot of eye sex happened RIGHT FREAKING THERE! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS INDEED. THIS IS PERFECT, JUST AS EXPECTED. so perf... Hollistein and Laferry .. You guys.. This is just.. This Christmas is so sweet I can see red ants everywhere in this VERY special episode. I am so not used to the character's faces so close to the camera but god its glorious.. Thank you Jordan Hall and just literally everyone behind this. The creampuffs all around the world really buckled up for this.
