    no one would take it - even Salvation Army. It was in pretty bad shape, so even the local schools and churches said it wasn't worth moving or keeping. Hence, the smashing

      correct - it was a cheap piano in terrible condition. Even for free, the people that stopped by to look at it wouldn't take it. I am a musician and I take good care of all my instruments. This piano was sadly a lost cause, so why not smash it?

    What was the point of that it was in perfectly good shape why would you ruin it like that

      it was not in perfectly good shape - we literally couldn't give it away it was so bad. The sounding board was warped and it was beyond saving. Even the local music stores were not interested in any of the parts, including the hammers
