im not really deep in the whole insurance stuff but the fact that a broken mirror and some rough scratches are enough to consider a supercar "totaled" seems nuts to me. mechanically this car should be fine. great dealership considering that this happened already...
I don't think the car is totaled, but the cost of repair and depreciation loss is huge. But with these level of cars, the owner will typically want the insurance company to replace the whole part and not repair it, so if you add up 10k for each wheel, plus all the parts that were damaged and the crazy labor charges, it doesn't take much for the car to be written off
@@user-mu4lp6kq2j well i doubt all wheels have to be replaced. but i get the rest tho, especially if a car has a carbon body / any carbon part that cracks you have to completely replace it. but to be honest its particularly bad here because its a ferrari... theyre the most profitable car company by a long shot for reasons such as this

Ferrari dealer Here in scottsdale they have a *Safe Room* a actual room that's actually a safe. The guy told me the code and all sorts of stuff changes on a basses. I wonder how he was able to get the Keys there? The dealership here is about uh 10 or so years old. Yours is newer.

Well you could just fix it to drive it or you can fix it to be resold to someone else. Get someone to repair the body work replace the back bit the carbon fiber piece on the back you can’t even notice it’s scratched. Knowing that’s it’s been a bit beat up now I’d just fix it enough to enjoy driving it. If you have something like this it’s not about the money anyway it’s the experience

Petty? It’s an almost brand new vehicle and considering he doesn’t hold onto them for very long, why would he want to keep a car that is going to have a trashed vehicle history, significantly impacting trade-in or resale. This happened under the dealer’s supervision thereby making it their problem.
