Enjoy our start to the year summary of January's building activities onsite with developer Cameron Fraser
As far as ‘office views’ go, our team on site undoubtedly have
one of the finest the world has to offer. Work progresses on each of Moon Gate’s spectacular beach-facing buildings, with the interior touches now underway on the final block, Building Seven. External plastering is completed on Building Five and has commenced on Building Six.
Meanwhile, the foundations for the à la carte restaurant are in place, while construction on the main retaining wall and terraces for the restaurant and public areas advances. The kitchen is quickly taking shape with all walls now at full height and columns and beams being created.
The team is also hard at work on the roof of the reception and lobby. Here, tiling plus exterior and interior stone work is in progress, and internal plastering and joinery has started. Surrounding ground works, roads and pavements have also begun.
This month saw the arrival of the remaining large pieces of furniture. The loose furniture is also on its way with 11 40ft. containers expected in February, along with the resort’s sleek doors and windows from Italy. The reverse osmosis plant to ensure a steady supply of water has arrived on island too, and will be delivered to site shortly.
