I was wondering when Mick Gordon’s music was going to kick in because I noticed it was absent until Hedgie’s boss fight. When that happened and I heard the music started playing I was like “HOLY SHIT THERE IT IS!!!” and just played according to the music like it was DOOM.
God, Mick Gordon is a certified legend and it’s no different here with Atomic Heart.

@@TapiocaMCZ Not sure, but seemingly they shared samples. so maybe. Though, this one is Gordon for sure th-cam.com/video/FThMOpu_9mk/w-d-xo.html. Like you can see difference, GOrdon's tracks are more agressive in some kind but more contrast from discharge almost pause moments to agressive beats

This song actually got me killed. I had to legit force myself to NOT headbang and it was so much of a distraction that I kept losing track of the Hedgie.
I left the hedgie alive on low health to keep listening lol

Crispy critters, the boss was tough, but this song still slaps!
Pretty easy honestly, the tough part is not being able to loot the neuromodule as it just floats mid-air...taunting you (still hasn't gotten fixed on game pass)

@@applegoose1222 i wanted to say, its especially hard to create challenging bosses in an ego-shooter bacause it can get extremly disorientating for the player if you use mechanics which are standard in 3rd person games like a dodge-roll for instance.
so again, i am not saying these bosses only work in a ego-shooter... i am saying, they made 3rd person bosses work in an ego-shooter.

I like the little detail of the Alert level on the top right. In the intro, it starts at level 01 and then changes to level 02 when the combat starts. It's a small detail that isn't really necessary but is added in anyways.

This isn’t a detail, this is literally an in-depth game mechanic lol, if you bother to stop and understand the link between the alert system and hawk, you will breeze through the game

The music alone got me through the boss fight, I was extremely under prepared but managed to kill the thing with my last 2 shotgun rounds and literally zero health

I accidentally got the melee only achievement during my run. Only thing I knew that did damage lol

This song hit as hard as the Hedgie. You just didn’t expect to get the most grimy drop imaginable. The second it hits, you just knew you were about to face hell while head banging the whole time.
I got goosebumps when the part from the combat trailer came it. The realization that this is that song and not just made for that trailer.
I died twice on purpose just to hear this epic beat kick in during the boss fight

There were some Mick Gordon vibes before but shit broke lose the moment Hedgie showed up. Amazing game so far.
Loved how the tempo worked perfect with how the fight was going like how it changed to a "cool down" when hedgie overheated and entered it's cool down mode.
