Love spending time with you Noeme. Your chatty vlogs are perfect. Don't change a thing. I'm excited to see your cardigan finished.... And your Friday vlog ❤
Good job, I would never have figured out the problem, I still have unfinshed knitting projects because I have no idea how to solve my problems. I am sure it will look beautiful in the end when you have finished it. And I think you are amazing for keep at it even when it gets hard or problematik. You should be so proud of your accomplishments. I wish you could be kinder to your self and not put so much pressure on you. I am a bit worried that the wish for perfection and the pressure you put on your self could make you ill one day. But I hope it will not come that far. Love everything you do and always looking forward to see something of you, Milo and your wife. Kind regard and take good care, Anna
Thank you so much for your kind message. I work really hard on keeping my perfectionist streak in check because as you say, it can turn nasty when it's too strong. But I promise, I'm careful about this. Do you have a small yarn shop near you where you could take your projects for help? Some places have "open classes" where you go with your own projects and a teacher is there to help. It could maybe get you unstuck with projects you have started? Sounds like a shame to have unfinished projects in the naughty corners ❤️
I found your channel a few days ago and already rewatched nearly all of the videos. I feel like I fell in love with you in the blink of an eye. ❤😂 our bodytype is very different, we have a completely different style and I don’t even like knitting. Nevertheless I am still here, smiling and worrying with you. I love your creativity and you seem such a wonderful human being. Thank you so much for sharing. Love from Germany.
Ha ha yay, I love that even without liking to knit, you watch the video 😄 Don't forget to go outside to get some fresh air (just worried if you watched all the videos in a few days 🤪). So happy to have you on the channel ☺️
I hadn’t watched your videos in a bit, so I am doing a quick binge! Adorable Milo! And hats off to you for sticking through the sweater. It is a lovely color.
Nooo don't lose your infectious enthusiasm for selfless sewing! You did the right thing prioritising precious friend time, any imperfections in the garment just give it character and memories! Plus, bought clothes aren't always perfect. I wandered around some shops on the weekend for the first time in ages and there were things selling for $200+ that weren't lovingly pattern matched, the buttons were loose etc! And one of the fancy shop assistants asked where I bought my (handmade) skirt (she couldn't see my little faults)! Anyway, there was so much to love in this video. Needle case is adorable and totally ok to buy some of your things if brings you joy. Donald Duck grumbling totally relatable! Milo is such a good boy! Pays to be a VIP 😂
Ha ha the good VIP life 😄 I'm still sewing for others, I think in typical Noémie, I mixed up my thoughts a bit. I think I won't let people pay for their fabric if I'm not 100% sure I'll do a perfect job. And you are so right that stuff isn't nicely made in RTW (even sometimes more expensive brands!), but I know if something I made isn't perfect... So I think, either I'm super confident (will do a sandpiper for a friend soon and no sweat there) or I won't let them pay for the fabric. Because if it's 100% a gift, it takes the pressure away for me and it makes it a more enjoyable experience. ☺️
Sending you hugs after the shock I had seeing you unpicking so much! 😍🥰😘 I fell asleep watching this vlog last night, & when I started again this morning, it was exactly at the frogging, but I couldn't remember why you were doing it, & I was so surprised! But, I agree with you, better to fix it now, than ignore the mistake & never want to wear the cardi, especially as it looks so beautiful. Take care, & good luck finishing it up! 💜💜💜😢
Well, it's just that by the end, if you mess up big time, it's potentially a bigger disaster than when you've just started? I don't know, also patience is lower by the end, I think 😅

Thank you so much! I'm always worried I complained too much in the vlogs 🫣 But trying to keep it real.

yesss VIP club!!! I'm here for the chatting lol
Ha ha, when I filmed and I was talking about the VIPs, I literally knew who I'd find in the comments 😄 Makes it very relaxed this way, it's nice.

Thank you! It's also super squishy, I'll be a hug magnet when wearing it 😄

Oh yeah, that sounds like a happy medium as you get the best of both worlds that way 😊
Also very intrigued about this mystery business for Friday... 👀

I love these chatty vlog videos! I've just gotten home from a long weekend away, and this was the perfect video to unwind to. ^_^
Yay, I hope you had a nice long weekend!
I love the chatty videos. I’ve just cut out the cool stitches craft case to make a wallet for my circular needles too.
Oh my, I didn't know about this pattern, it looks so cool!! (Now I'm jealous ha ha)

@@fikanera838 at least, undoing knitting is quite fun (good to get the energy out 🤪) unlike unpicking sewing which can be very tedious work
good job pushing through!! I always feel like the end of project steps are the worst somehow
