I think stock android (11) is much better, considering it has a more uniform ui!
@@vinurademel for you maybe, but not for everyone because most of people I meet they said stock UI pretty boring with lack of useful features
Stock android ui is bad and boring but i change my mind a little bit with android 12 and above the design is good enough and not really boring
I've stopped using launchers because they don't seem to play well with Samsung, always a touch of lag. Do you think this might be the issue you're having?
by far the most useful and clear review on this phone yet! well done!!
I had the Pixel 6 Pro.. went to S22 regular.. went back to Pixel 6 Pro.. now I'm on the iPhone 13 Pro Max.. really eyeing this S22+
I really want the S22+. I was hoping my next phone will have amazing battery. But the too much complaints about it is making me change my mind at the last moment🤦🏻♂️. Not logical to pay all this money while having mid range phone battery.
S22 series especially the regular model has awful battery life.
@@MaDFroG88 I said in a different comment. Even though am not an Apple fan, But I respect the quality of everything they put in their phone. Less numbers but more efficient. Unlike Samsung too much numbers and features with expensive prices, but on reality it doesn't perform as a flagship wants to be #1.
@@tarekekram8441 I own s22 regular model and it lasts 4h30mins sot 😠 😡, definitely a disappointment!! I charge it twice a day, might consider 14pro in 2 months.
@@MaDFroG88 Sorry to hear that. I hope we never have such issue with the S23 line up. And for me am trying to be patient and wait for it.
@@tarekekram8441 regular s23 should have 4500mAh not 3700 😠 😡 ! I don't like iphone but s22 is unreliable! 14pro seems to include AoD and punch-hole camera instead of the notch! Also I'm not convinced Samsung will fix the exynos once again for s23 series 🤔
For faster transitions I recommend downloading Good Lock and playing with One Hand Operation
2:20 WRONG. Please do your homework before spreading misinformation. The S22/22+ are not LTPO, they only cover 48-120 Hz.
I have the S22+ AU model as well, but my bad thing is 100% the battery life. Barely reaching 4hrs SOT if im outside
Damn that is painful, do you think it's just the display draining that much?
Same here!! Inside with Wi-Fi I get 6-7, usually 6. But when I go out in town, it barley makes it to 4. Even with 5g off.
@@smperl0c0 do you have dark mode on?
Regular s22 here 4h30mns sot 😠 😡
It's even Faster when you take the animation off for the FP sensor
Hey Sam as u have used both S22 plus and One plus 10 Pro which one will be a better choice
What launcher and icon pack do you use?
I just get the Samsung s22 plus and i love it since day one
How its the battery life?
Intro has left and right sound for stereo speakers 🔥
Do u use a theme or a launcher?? I think your icons look different. Can u enlight me pls? Thx
Regarding junky animations, one ui 5 is supposed to fix all these animation issues.
Where did you read that ? Can I have source ?

Hey,
I was wondering which phone is better between the Galaxy S22+ and the Oppo Find X5 Pro.
My priorities are: Screen/Display, Camera, Battery endurance, Software support and connectivity.
Less important: Speed/Power (i dont game), charging speed, speakers.
*Both phones are identical price at the time of writing.
Thank you ❤
What keyboard do you use, timestamp 5:18?
Gboard with dynamic color theme
Is it worth switching to S22 from iPhone 13? I’m a long time iPhone user but I gotta admit that Samsung phones are way better in terms of aesthetics, especially the thinner bezels and no notch. Also I really want the 120hz display, but battery life is a necessity for me.
If its related to battery, not worth my fren.. Maybe try s22 plus
I don't think so, battery life on any iPhone 13 model (to my knowledge) will outperform S22. But you should get around 7 hours screen on time on full charge
@@authenticNL2 Yeah after reading some other comments I’ve decided to at least wait for the S23 and see if they improve the battery
@@authenticNL2 The iPhone 13 has a big gap on battery life compared to the 13 pro and pro max.
I would suggest waiting for the next generation. I've been using an S22 Ultra and for some reason I have troubles staying up all day. It is probably just because I watch tiktok too much sonce it heats up just about any phone and drains my battery quite a bit, but I do manage to charge it once in a day along with the battery just set to 85. If you are planning to upgrade, I think spending a bit more for the s22 plus will make a big change to you since there is only a couple minutes of difference between the batteyr life on the s22 ultra and the s22 plus. Nevertheless my answer is to wait it out for the S23 series.
I just went from an a series phone to the s22+ and my only gripe is the position of the scanner. It is a fair bit higher up on the display than my old a42, and I haven't built up the muscle memory yet
Why do grown men have this need to wear their cap backwards like a 10 year old?
what theme are u using? Looks nice! Curious to know what it is.
Sam, have you ever considered doing a list for custom android 12 roms? I Have a Oneplus8T with OOS11 and I had to go back from 12 since the software was abismal in comparison. I want to gage my options for custom roms but I don't know much about them, how stable they are or how to go about installing one
Nowadays.... Custom rom is much more complicated and have a higher risk to get your device bricked unlike before so join your device group in telegram and carefully read their guide hope that will help ya
Ive been using Samsung Notes since 2! idk, why they dropped the Note name? Note is what got Samsung in the cell phone game!!! But either way my S22 Ultra 5G 512gb is a Beast ad its still the Note! The Battery is amazing....I use my phone all day , multi tasking, photos, videos, etc... and still have at least 30%! And I think the cameras are not set up half as nice as Ultra.... imo. I wouldn't care if they take away the curve display? Even though I love it for content! But never take away the squared off Note look....!
They just dropped the name only, the fact that all note features still available in S22 ultra, except micro SD card & audio jack
@@pudinichigo91 audio jack was gone. But SD Card is a huge deal!!! And ppl need to complain to get it back.....
@@11jrg11 that what I said, they dropped the name only because all the note features you still can get from ultra model, btw if you really care about audio jack + sd card slot then you only option for now is Sony
@@pudinichigo91 nope love Samsung, and I traded my Fold 3 (that I was playing with) while I had already bought the S20 Ultra it's a perfect phone and still has SD card... so I'll keep it. People don't understand if they don't call, email, complain etc.... once the SD cards are gone? Then we'll all be forced eventually to use clouds etc.... yes they're free till their NOT! I love having my SD I can pop out, put on my puter and erase move on. Samsung is pulling an Apple! Raise to prices take things away.... smh. They'll lose customers just like Apple! Slowly but surely....
Hey Sam,. Can u suggest which is a better option to go . S22+ , pixel 7 or iphone 13 pro on day to day usage . Shud have good photo and video as I do shoot a lot . Additionally, I am an android user since long and just have MacBook which I usage for editing . I am itching to go apple way but think I might loose some of the android features that might be useful. Can u suggest ?
What is the theme you have used in the home screen
What's the name of your theme? I saw small icons. Pls advise.
do you have the exynos or the snapdragon variant?
Need that intro track! 🔥
the battery depends on your usage tho! it'll vary from person to person
I was wondering if you could tell me where you got your wallpapers from?
i need to upgrade from the s10+ (pixel density 522) to the s22+ (pixel density 390). will i notice the difference? is the + worth USD150 over the non+? just screen size and battery right? all else the same? with trade-in (of my cracked screen s10+), the total comes to USD730, vs 580 for the s22 non plus
I really like the way you present these videos It's different from others and it gives your videos a sense of uniqueness ❤
Which theme you're using? It looks really good
How’d you get the apps to look like that! It looks super sleek
Would it be worth it to switch from an iPhone 12 Pro to this ?
Which camera os better s22/plus or google pixel 6/ pro?
What launcher are you using?
I returned mine because battery was so bad and didn’t get better. And camera app Operation was choppy and slow. Photo quality was really good tho minus the blur on anything moving.
Whats phone you currently using sam?
Hey man. Just bought S22 plus 4 days ago. Does the battery become better after a week or two of using a phone.?can you answer?tnx
im at a weird point where I need a new phone, do I go for this or wait a few months? my pixel 4 is pretty broken haha
Hey bro long time follower, I have ALWAYS been a Pixel Fanboy.... I noticed you have always used them also... How does this compare camera wise ? I found the s21 still wasn't as good as the pixel .... Honest thoughts
Considering that there's only one more software update left, should i buy the Samsung s20 fe 5g???
No?

SICK INTRO 🔥🔥🔥
I have a S21FE, and the only problem too is the animation stutters that occurs
open developer mode turn it to like 0.5
Where do you get your wallpapers 👌
I love how they decided to make it a little smaller with the S22, under 6 inches would have been a little better tho...
Just imagine the S22 with headphone jack and expandable storage, that would be a dream come true.
I just realized the + in S22+...
Lmao get over it
Who even uses wired headphones with their phone anymore lol
@@Ad-zu8bt I use wired headphones with my iphone 13 pro. Not because I can’t afford the airpods, but because I just don’t see the point of it. I hate having to charge my headphones, I’d rather have them tied to a cable to my phone and never charge them, besides… the sound quality is more consistent
I do as bluetooth earphones is freakingly hurting my ears and love more wired with usb dac.... Tws really trash in term of sound quality for me
Thats why i notice too with samsungs. It is not silky smooth than even only mid range phone
The only issue i have with this phone is video recording. It's never getting better, dont get me wrong. It's awesome quality wise, but when the phone heats up, you see the stuttering and drop frame. It's really annoying 😒 i thought samsung fixed this issue by now, but it still remains since s7 for a lot of peoples it is a deal breaker
Where can I get ur wallpapers? Also fantastic review ,love ur vids.
Have been waiting for this review! Thanks Sam.
Please mention if you're reviewing Snapdragon or Exynos when it comes to Samsung. Thank you.
Whats the keyboard you using?
That's Google's GBoard
Update : the screen it's actually from 48hz to 120hz not 10 to 120
My complaints about this phone is that the fact that it has no longer expandable storage it also doesn't have a 500gb version it only has 128gb and 256gb. Me coming from a phone that has 256gb internal with 256gb micro SD that already has 83gb of used in internal and 197gb used of external space it is already 280gb if you add both which is not enough if I am going to switch. They only put 512gb - 1T on their ultra which is a bummer.
Which is better in terms of battery and camera S22+ or OnePlus 9 pro?? I'm between these 2 phones or the normal S22 but I heard so many negative comments about its battery

Correct. Samsung mislead customers into thinking all the S22 range were LTPO, but they later revealed the S22/22+ are LTPS.

What about the heating issues?
I've noticed tiktok heats the phone up a lot and uses a ton of battery life. More than anything else I've used. Recording 4k 60 runs fine for a while it gets warm but not concerning. It cools down fast when the applications are closed.
