Chasing Big Flathead @ The Nicholson River!!

On the 2nd day of my Gippsland adventure we decided to go and target some bread and butter species in the Nicholson River just outside Bairnsdale with some great results! Hope you enjoy this one :)

Jason told me the last time he went there with a mate they pulled a 61cm Flathead so we tried it again and sure enough we found that pair on the same edge! Saves on the fuel money for sure 😅

Great video jordy nice variety of fish .the flatheads you and Jason caught a trophy fish. Well done guys. Went fishing this morning at weeribee river caught 1 20cm redfin on worms my ducks were there. See you on the water old charlie

Thanks mate! You did a lot better than I did today 😂 Give the Whopper plopper a go, one of the boys tried it recently and got smashed by something at sunset. I reckon it's noisy enough to coax the Bass out of their winter hiding spots.

Hey mate, do you mean the Tambo? If so then no that wasn't me as I have never fished it before.
