    I enjoy y’all’s videos. What is the HR limit rule for your league?
    Ours is 2, then when the opposing team matches, you can go up by 1 every time it’s matched.

    imagine a league that calls you out for shooting middle guess indiana is just built different

    • @MaXiMuMv2
      @MaXiMuMv2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are a lot of rec leagues and backyard tournaments that do that, or put a screen up for the pitcher. Not a fan of the rule myself but I understand why it exists. A few pitchers not wearing masks get killed every year because they think they are "built differrent".

      Bro these are just people trying to have a friendly competition, drink beer, have fun and then go to work the next day. There`s rules in play to protect the players so they`re not out of work from injury. They`re not professional players with contracts...@@javtimestwo

    Dead Ball for hitting the ball up the middle? WOW! Must be E league.
    That's a terrible rule and does not teach the pitcher how to field his position.
    Also, are those bases 60 feet apart? Seems very, very short for adult softball. They should be at least 70 feet

  • @tbone7353
    @tbone7353 ปีที่แล้ว

    That auto out on the middle shots is horrible let's you play 4 outfielders with no consequences that is BS

    • @Tyrannis07
      @Tyrannis07 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Consequences? It's a f$cking rec league. You know, playing for fun? God forbid a guy standing 50 feet away not have to worry about some weekday warrior actually aiming for him with a 100 mph exit speed. Pitchers get hit on accident often enough, there is absolutely no reason at any level a pitcher throwing underhanded should have to worry about the "consequences" of an intentional middle shot.

    • @tbone7353
      @tbone7353 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Tyrannis07 it's simple don't pitch outside and stand there watching it like a fool especially in a rec league where most people are just trying to mash a ball and pull it trying to pull a outside and squaring it up results in the same thing a shot back at the pitcher it dosen't Matter if it's underhanded or 100mph so get over the underhanded argument it's stupid and the rec league argument is stupid also i play in multiple rec leagues and it's all the same tournament players that i play with and against on the weekends so you don't know what you are talking about

    • @Tyrannis07
      @Tyrannis07 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tbone7353 Don't move the goalposts. The "standing there watching it like a fool" wasn't the topic. You said "consequences" based on the 4 outfield alignment. That implies you're wanting to blow middle because of no 5 man infield. That's completely different than getting an accidental middle shot based on location and batter inexperience. And it DOES matter that it's underhanded. Even mediocre slowpitch players bat over .500 because it's coming in underhanded, and almost always put the ball in play. The best players on the planet struggle to hit .300 on 100mph pitches and not strike out 1/3 of the time.
      I bet you do play multiple rec leagues. You're probably one of those cool guys who shows up wearing the sub-dye jersey of some other team you play on, then can't wait to blast some 40 year-old rec pitcher and find a way to blame him for it. "He pitched me outside" "It's part of the game", "Hey, they almost hit our pitcher one time 3 innings ago. Gotta protect my guy". Cobra Kai players like you obsessed with the middle shot are all over the place. It's pathetic. And it doesn't matter if a guy wears a mask. Players like you will say it's ok to blast a pitcher if he IS wearing protection, then when a guy that isn't wearing a mask gets hit, it's "He should have had protection. Natural selection". A catch-22 to excuse being a douche.

      @@tbone7353 your anecdotes aren’t facts. Just cause your leagues are like that doesn’t mean that’s the standard for softball nation wide. Also if you’re saying the pitcher should be good enough to not throw outside pitches then the batters should be good enough to either leave it alone for a ball or go opposite field with it.
