I wish my shelves were as pretty as yours! In reality mine are just the BTS Shelf and then everything else chills below it and I slide my photocard binder under the shelf so my Dad doesn't mistake it for a school binder (in spite of it being labelled photocards) and move it (which would terrify me completely). It was cool to see your shelves again!! I like watching you update them it gives me ideas for when I inevitably have to move my things around again

For a 10+ year fan, my collection is sadly small. This inspires me a lot. I have a lot of backlog to catch up on though TT_TT Luckily, albums are a lot more affordable these days! Your collection is so pretty~!
I'm curious. i have 37 albums (soon to be 38 once MOTS:7 comes out). i look through them every so often and i wonder for people who have bigger collections: do u ever look through them? i know u love and appreciate every album you own, but i notice people own like hundreds of albums so do u touch them after your first flip through?
I have almost 230 albums, I've been collecting for a long time, but one thing I always do is play the CD at least once, after I get the album (though I'm sure all of my albums have been played multiple times) and I do go back and look through them :) Not all at once of course, but sometimes when I miss a particular era (or even group, since some I collected have disbanded already) or when I'm stressed ^^ It's something that relaxes me a lot, so I do go back to them :)
I do look through them quite often. Most days I'm feeling like only listening to one group and then I'll flip through it while listening to they albums. It's really calming.
Caroline 90 including seasons greeting soon to be 97 and I look through then often, but once i start I can’t help myself and look through other albums and seasons greeting!

Your shelves look nice! I do like displaying certain special ones on those stands; it's something I'm looking to do in the future. I'm moving this year as well, and have new shelving in mind. Currently I have 1 2-shelf bookcase I'm using for my albums, but that quickly filled up (I've only been collecting for 2 years now). I have larger LP sized items displayed on top of this shelf and my dvd shelf across the room. My lightstick and other merch I have stored away since I'll be moving in a few months. I understand your want to cut down - even though I haven't been collecting as long, it does take up a lot of space. I decided to narrow it down to my ult group (all versions of the album) and maybe 3 of my tops groups, but only get 1 version of the album. I was trying to collect 10 groups (and any of a member's solo album), but it's a lot!

I compared it to your previous one and you downsized quite a bit :D I've been surviving with just one kpop shelf for all my albums but the way Monsta X and GOT7 have been releasing stuff and now that Suju is done with military enlistments, I'm going to need another shelf soon 🙃

Well at least you don't have to worry about them going out of print. So I would recommend the newest ones since it's always funner to collect in the current era. And then just work your way backwards. Or just get your favourite album first.
Either buy which songs you like the most or what concepts/era you like the most :) I would recommend getting their more recent albums e.g mots persona. Or you could even buy their new album MOTS : 7 , releasing on the 21st of Feb :)
I'm even scared of ordering the album now... I think I'm going to wait until the 21st, even for the normal version ^^;; (I still don't know which I want and I don't mind having the normal version, but I'm worried that stores don't have enough stock for those either ^^;;)
