Same here brother. Almost ended it back in 2020, but have had those thoughts since a very young age. I’m 21 now, and I’m so glad I didn’t. Becoming a nurse to be there for people when they’re at their worst moments, just like I wish someone was there for me when I was at mine. Even if it’s a different sickness.

Ive made plenty of mistakes in my life. I havn't always served God like i should, but thats the awesome thing about the Gospel(good news) of Jesus Christ. That even while i was still a sinner, Christ died for me. He took me in as a sinner but He didn't leave me as a sinner. The bible talks about when you understand what Jesus did for you and believe what He did on the cross, that He took your own sin upon Himself and paid your debt so that you are now innocent before God, when you believe that, God gives you a new heart that loves to do good and hates to do sin. Which is completely true, even in my own life. If find myself still sinning in some area of my life, i cant keep going on in it, cause i cant stand it anymore because its no longer who i am. God really does make you a new man.
Were always going to struggle with sin in this life but the beauty of what Jesus did is that whether im saved or not is no longer based on what good I do or bad ive done. Its based on my Faith in Jesus Christ good deed that He did for me. Thats way its called the free gift of Salvation to all who believe. Because its not based on my own merits but His. Just because God saves us by just having faith doesnt mean we keep on practicing sin, youll know when you truely believe on Jesus, because your thankfulness to Him will make you strive not to sin.

It's funny my husband can't listen to phora because it depresses him and here I am depressed af and soak it all in. Writing your pain and speaking into the mic gives you a voice that can reach many. Stay true to yourself and always keep believing.. Every day is a new chance for you change your life. I aspire to do the same through my own songs and spread a message like never before! One step at a time.
And just a little encouragement.. lots of people question the existence of God because of this dark and dismal world. It seems far more realistic for there not to be God if we base all our beliefs on emotions and experiences filtered by this evil world. What we must remember however is that this world does in fact belong to the devil. I didn't believe in God for a very long time. One day I was shown what I needed to see and I understood things more than I ever imagined was possible. Of course I still have my struggles and woes. But I know in the end there is a Creator who loves us all dearly, this world just drowns out all the good and all the purity. It's there but it isn't as easy to find and experience as the darkness. Keep making incredible music.. and know that God is real.. and He loves us. Though He seems so far.. we are actually the ones far from Him because of this evil matrix all around us. I know I’m still hurting her though because I’ve been drinking my feelings away, and I tell her it’s to feel happy and to help me sleep because of my insomnia. She says the happiness from being drunk is fake and temporary and to seek god, but the only thing faker than my happiness is her religion, and drinking is the only way I feel anything now. I’ve become numb and indifferent to everything over the years, and the me I was years ago is gone. I just discovered Phora and it’s all I’ve been listening to lately. I’m glad I came across his music I really needed it.
