How to assemble a kitchen drawer

- I noticed that no one had made a video for installing assembling and installing kitchen draws on you tube so I decided to make one. I hope it helps some of you that don't know how to do it.
I have also added a video on removing drawer fronts, can be found in the playlist called “instructional”
This is done on a Howdens drawer but the principles are the same on most draws.

Excellent demonstration. Anyone know where I can get just the ‘gallery rail head’- the grey part with the hole he screwed on to hold the rail. Secondhand unit came without them. Thank you.

Hey mate got some similar drawer runners to fit recently but the fronts don't have any pre drilled holes. Any suggestions to get these marked up accurately. I've tried a few different methods but it's tough to get it spot on
Hi mate, good question actually, what I normally do is put the drawer on the runners and put it in the closed position, insert the bracket that connects to the drawer, I can then take measurements from either the door bellow or the worktop above it. I hope that makes sense

0:40 I’m finding that the drawer bottom panels are too long for the drawer and they protrude out a by couple of mm. It is fully pushed down into the grooves. Is this a manufacturing error that i need to trim down a bit? Or is deliberate to allow a bit of play if I need to tilt the draws forward/backward using those top rails?
No the drawer bottoms should sit flush, I have had this before and it’s a manufacturing problem, I have trimmed them in the past
How do you take tue front pins out from the frame ? Got one that door came out i cant fond a way to take tue part out fir tue door itsel

sorry to be awkward but I am hoping to replace a scratched/ chipped drawer front for someone will the front come off easily enough if I follow this video in reverse ?
Not awkward at all, yes it will do there are two small screw points that hold the drawer front on and they will release the front.
problem is the drawer front is no longer attached to its bottom clips and they are stuck inside the drower sides- is there any way to remove the two clips from the drawer sides so that I can fix them back onto the holes on the drawer front? I can see absolutely no way to remove them
Yes there is a little screw in the side that you need to turn. I have just found a video I can show you.

Is there a way to remove the drawer front panel pins from the slots? The panel has come off put the pins are still inside
Yes there is ! Please have a look on my channel for the video I have done on how to remove drawer fronts, in that video I show you exactly how to remove them, although your drawer front has come off follow the same steps to remove them pin aswell. Thanks for your comment

Where can you order a kitchen replacement drawer?
Toolstation sell them, if you search for hafele kitchen drawer.
I've installed these but the drawers are really stiff coming out, why is that?
When you say coming out do you mean revoking the drawer or opening the drawer, if it’s opening the drawer then the most common fault is grit in the drawer runners. Hope that helps
