So much room for activities holy crap. This video has opened my eyes. I want to build out to the front with stopper feet like yours. Built my own side mounted bike rack. This gives you so many options for storage or lights, anything you need.
Exactly! Lights are the next thing I'll be adding to the front of the rack. Also will probably add some at the back to light up camp area when we're setting up after dark
@ZoeyR86 if youre talking about the brackets I used to mount the unistrut to the bed rack, then yes absolutely. I just had these rooftop tent brackets already laying around so they worked for me
@WhittyPics not as far as I can tell so far. It's been on like this for almost 2k miles now and is working great! With the little feet I added to the front part it stays off of the cab so there isn't much risk. If i planned on putting something very heavy up there then maybe I'd need additional feet to support it but the 2 up front are way more than enough for everything I've done with it so far

I think it would look better if you'd be able to paint it black so as it would pair perfectly with your Extrusion rack.
That's my plan! I'll likely use black truck bed liner so it's very durable
@maverickoverlandadventures Smart choice so it won't get easily chip/peel off!
The bed rack is just 8020 you can buy generic brakets for just a few bucks with hardware

@maverickoverlandadventures i know just point out you can get nearly identical mounts from 8020 clones for only 2-3$ each
@ZoeyR86 good call! Thank you for the info!
Any risk of this damaging the roof of your truck. You should have another set of rubber feet on the back on the roof
