    Turn the treshhold up to a good hum on the Legend ,you may not hear a beep ,but if you hear a definate tone break you can bet something is there most of the time. KEEP ON DIGGIN!!!!!!!!!

    Love My Gold Kruzer..(65khz!)
    I was eyeing the Nox 800…But I’m Leaning heavy toward the legend for a Multi/Lower freq.vlf as I am familiar with Nokta/Makro, Their outstanding quality and heck.. Its Half the price!… Yeah..Legend.

      @southernrelics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very true. I enjoy the Gold Kruzer as well. It found my very first piece of gold in Arizona in the spring.
      The Legend is an excellent detector, and yes for half the cost and nearly the same performance, go for it.

      @0Logan05 do you think the gold Kruzer is better for gold than the legend? I guess I'm asking in general as conditions do vary from site to site etc.
      I'm hopefully looking to get into it soon! And can't decide what to aim for!

    • @southernrelics
      @southernrelics  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @vincentjackson3472 yes, it is better for gold prospecting. It can pick up a small piece than the legend will because of the higher frequency it runs on.

    I live only 25 miles from them. I bought my simplex from them a couple of months ago. I love it too!! They are awesome to do business with. I will only buy my detectors from them from now on out.

    Between the Nox & Legend, Do you recommend the Legend or Equinox 800, for Gold Prospecting?

    • @southernrelics

      Great question. Personally I’d go with the Legend. The both perform well , but you can’t beat the price of the Legend

    Hi how does the gold finder 2000 respond to hot rock,how they sound,whats the ID on screen,is the depth good on gold in Arizona

    • @southernrelics
      @southernrelics  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great questions.
      It does respond to hot rocks. It gives a light zip sound and shows up ferrous on the target ID bar.
      It can pick up a nugget nearly 3-4 inches deep. Maybe a little bit more if you jack the sensitivity all the way up.

      @southernrelics  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you plan to do any relic hunting as well as nugget hunting, I would go with either the Nokta Legend or the Nokta Gold Kruzer. They are both waterproof as well, so that would open up another option of places to search.

    • @laokeikonyak8377

      @laokeikonyak8377 I understand that. The Nokta Legend can pick up nuggets, but is a relic machine mainly.

    Have you ever purposely detected for gold nuggets in the upstate and found any?

    • @southernrelics
      @southernrelics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I haven’t. The “nuggets” in SC are very few and far between. The only ones I’ve seen found big enough for a detector to pick up were at the bottle of the broad river found while dredging bed rock 6 feet down.

    How is the goldfinder 2000 on the beach?? It's def a different mineral content and will it cut it there? I can't find anything on how that Makes does finding gold in the dense wet beach sand...

    • @southernrelics
      @southernrelics  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a good question. I have not had it on the beach yet. I don’t see many videos on the GF2000 as it is. I don’t think anyone has had one on the beach. It does automatically ground balance to the type of soil it’s on, but I’m not sure how it would handle it.
