I have to say one thing about free handing crochet (or anything ig) and it's WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN like everything. because you will definitely forget details like stitch counts and when you increased, etc. I've recently done a few things free hand and writing what I did down saved me!

actually not too warm since I used very thin cotton! I'm guessing it might be too much if you live in a tropical environment tho ;w; I live on the east coast, which does get humid, but it is totally doable wearing something like this out c:

hii they're from this brand called labucq & they're called the "kitty loafer." It's more expensive than most shoes, but I swear they're the most comfortable pair of heeled loafers ever & so flattering/cute with every outfit. I literally never bought loafers until I saw these c: If it's out of your budget, I highly rec hitting them up on a sale which is what I did!
