This brings back memories and reminds me of my dad and I. He owned a janitorial business, too, and I used to clean with him at 12 years old. We’d also strip and wax floors. People knockdown this hustle, but it really is some good money to be made! The hustle and entrepreneurial mindset is in our DNA!
Pro tip from a proffessional carpet cleaner. Get yourself a clothes iron. For the hard to remove stains wet it with stain remover put a wet rag over it and put a iron on the steam setting over the rag with no pressure for 10 secconds. Remove iron and rag, check spot and add spotter and repeat as needed.
A good friend Jamaal, he had a carpet cleaning company and was making good money. He was super good to people and got taken advantage of, needless to say he lost his business. He has passed away but went with a smile. Keep it up Hunter!!! You are going places man! James.
That CRB is a game changer and to come out the gate with one is very smart. Be careful with your back when using that wand as you grow your clients. That POG is super strong on carpet fibers so it can't sit that long. Silicone Shoe covers while cleaning to, Corner Guards to prevent damages, Safety Cones for your van, Ink Remover, Rust Remover and Biological Treatment for urine, feces or vomit concerns. Look into heat transfers for anything red, you will need a iron and white towels, Carpet Protector (scotchgard)and a rake. You will want to seal the fibers after you clean them. Additional services cost additional money. Best of luck on your future success Black Man #FreeGame 🤝🏾
I do enjoy watching advanced cleaning systems. The Clean Team!! It’s really cool you jumped into this! I’ve thought about it but ur making it happen! 👊🏻
🙌🙌 beautiful 🙌 This reminds me of when I got started back in 1974 wile making cash through high school days. Way to go brother 🙌🙌. Equment is much better these days 😄too. ~ I don’t plan on retiring, still love it being out in the action. That’s the real life, helping and working with lots of my cool customers all these years.
dude you're inspiring to get a job bro lol this is what my parents want me to do and everyone around me is constantly talking about, work ethics, stop being lazy, go work for your money/wants/needs what your teaching your daughters is going to change the way they think money and approach it. Honestly, I always looked down at all this type of jobs because all I ecer wanted was a normal desk job at a financial firm but you get to have so much fun building something of your own with your own hard work it's just soo much better then working on your own 24/7 for someone else, i would be happy if i made money just doing my own thing like this even if i didn't make a lot lol man just the hustle everyday is like a journey!!! i fucking lifestyle man haha the energy you have to put out, dude i feel like im on a ride along with u, we need more videos and ppl like this to take us on the journey of what it's like in real life to have a job and do what they do, I get a new perspective and appreciation for it
Proud of you Brotha. I love seeing how your family support you. That’s something you don’t see everyday in the Black & Latina community. I’m pretty sure you probably didn’t even know that you’re promoting that but you are & I’ve noticed it from jump. Salute homie from Laury’sMobileDetailing (LMD) in Dallas, Tx.
This is a great avenue to venture out too! I use flex products all the time. This definitely has me thinking this is another source of income I can add to the business. Salute to you and your Dad!! God bless!
Congrats on your new carpet endeavors. As I’m sure that you know, You have to believe and step out there to make things happen. Ignore the doubters and keep swinging for the fence.
Watching you come up from where you started is an inspiration brother. You're living proof that the American dream still exists. I just started my side hustle in detailing (The Sudfather Mobile Detailing) and I can say that if it weren't for your videos I probably would still be debating it. Oddly enough I used to own a carpet cleaning business but sold it a few years back and came into detailing. I strongly recommend taking an IICRC course. Not for the certification because certifications don't mean a thing but for the knowledge you'll get. Knowing the chemistry of carpet cleaning solutions and what solution mix to use with different carpet fiber types will definitely set you apart not just in carpet cleaning but in detailing as well. Because of my carpet cleaning knowledge I've been able to treat stains in cars that other detailers couldn't. Keep up the inspiration and the growth of your beautiful family!
Get it man! Been using these crbs for a lifetime. Wish i would have seen ur 1st video would have saved u some $$ on ur crb !! But eother way good job bro
Awesome work jobs like these family can always come along lol. To make things easier hunter start at the farthest room and work your way back so you don’t step on the clean carpet or get some shoe covers. Commercial carpet is so easy to clean you will make money easy. 🔥
He probably won't see this but you should also offer tile and hardwood/laminate cleaning as well. I see you do the carpet and there are rooms with tile in them. Who knows how long it has been since those have been cleaned. just a thought. Good work, keep inspiring everyone as you have been!
For low pile carpet like that you can use a encapsulation chemicals, crb and then extract with a orbital spin machine with a wet bonnet works very well
Wayne you need to buy turbo fans when you clean carpets cause your little machine will leave carpets wet portable machines are notorious for this. Plus you need to buy a grooming brush to comb fibers after you clean so fibers stand up to dry faster especially in residential carpet jobs
Your hustle is inspiring. I love your videos and stories. Do you wear your regular shoes for the carpet jobs? Do you think dirt and debris could be tracked on your damp, clean carpets with your normal shoes? 🤔 Have you considered wearing protective footwear like booties?
I think he meant your dey time will be 3 hours and his only 30 min. Bonnet/encapsulation or pad capping that he is doing generally dries within 30 to 90 min.
just keep improving brother the technniques not there but the crb is great! upgrade that portable and learn the right wand techniques and youll be making so much money love to see this
Keep up the good work hunter, loving the hustle brothera. For super heavy soiled carpets, we use power burst and heavy artillery from pro chem. Works great
Hey brother you inspired me to start my business Top Dawgg"s Mobile Car Wash & Detailing and also pressure washing floors for few taco spots on side walk and also do carpet cleaning. Thanks for the motivation give out on your videos. God bless you and family. Shout-out to you from north east los Angeles local areas whowhowho
Hey man I was wondering what ever happened with the carpet cleaning? I have been thinking of moving into that and out of mobile detailing. Any info on ypur perspective would be great!! Thank you
i cleaned carpet with a portable as a side hustle for a few years and its very time consuming and labor intense with a portable and if u are working a full time job and doing it on the side it wont be easy ,, today im a trucker and watch these type of videos for fun , i thonk about doing it again someday but im not sure , there are many different types of hustles that can be turned into a business and i think the success or failure depends on finding 1 u like but the other factor a mysterious magical factor that u have or dont and its about do people like dealing with u , are u easy to deal with ?
Im a mobile detailer who cleans anything lol, houses, carpets, tractors, semis in and out, campers in and out, anything that can he cleaned I’ll clean it lol, I even got a job for a push mower once lol
Admire the hustle guy!! Carpet cleaning can be a very profitable business. I'd suggest you educate yourself in the techniques and know the equipment in and out, otherwise, you cannot justify the higher prices when you don't even know what the main tool (extractor and CRB) you use is called.
Look into encapsulation cleaning for cgd carpet cleaning. Way more economical and effective. Him pretreating with those spotters is overkill with flex. I would use flex to bonnet clean your leaving heavy residue behind. That’s a crb counter rotating brush. And you’ll like the 10” crb better. If any questions hit my business TH-cam page up pioneer janitorial service up

Alwayzzzzzz. Thats a 🔑 move !!
This brings back memories and reminds me of my dad and I. He owned a janitorial business, too, and I used to clean with him at 12 years old. We’d also strip and wax floors. People knockdown this hustle, but it really is some good money to be made!

I love your dad’s energy
If you use a bonnet, I still think you should extract afterwards.. the pad won’t pick up all the dirt. It’s not just about “dry time”
This is one of my favorite videos of your channel
Great video offering lots of informational value. I have an exterior house washing business and your motivating me to get into carpet cleaning.
You motivating us brother. Keep grinding..
I got 11 weeks until my 2nd daughter here.

Great job my man! What are you using as a pre-treatment? Thanks!
Definitely enjoyed this a whole lot more than detailing and I’m a detailer lol
Your daughters are cutest girls ever❤
Beautiful family bro👍
Great video. Get IICRC certified. Lastly try not to use the term chemicals , Say cleaning agents.
If any questions hit my business TH-cam page up pioneer janitorial service up
A heated extraction machine will pull stains up too
Are you still doing carpet cleaning at all? Looking to add it to my services as well, but those equipment prices 😩😂
Me and my daughter do detailing and carpet cleaning.
U inspire me ur the best
I had a truck mounted unit it was like 25 grand just for the machine
Can’t see the name of this equipment in the description
It will pay for itself in 6 months bro! Plus you can depreciate it for taxes at the end of the year! BAM!
Some foot covers would come in handy
Good crb action I love this tool good results😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
lets gooo hunterrr!!! :))
