Love to use Inkscape to design vectors for my vinyl cutting machine or for my embroidery program - or even use Ink/Stitch to create embroideries directly. Your tutorials are so helpful to get comfortable with Inkscape. As soon as I have more time I will subscribe to your program/course.
Thank you very much for your amazing tutorials. I've learned so much from you and I'm always exited when you upload new videos. You're very good at explaining things and you are the reason I came to know this amazing software.
i find the new path effects function of creating a clone of the text so useful befor making path edits to a text and the bend path effect also works great for arching text.
Fantastic! I was using the Bezier Envelope extension previously, but it stopped working at some point. I tried the Envelope Deformation tool, but never deactivated the left and right paths option. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the knowledge you share Nick!
Great channel that I’ve been following for a while now! Can you do a video on how to make a word cloud in Inkscape? Before someone starts to list websites that can do it quickly for you, I actually want to make this on my own, and I’d love to see your ideas, Nick! :)
Hi, I don’t see how to get the font into Inkscape after downloading it, this is way harder than it should be can you please help? I need a logo done by today
Is there a way to ensure you are arching in the very center? And to arch top and bottom together so they are arched the same amount? So far I just set guides to find center but still am basically eyeballing everything and hoping my mouse doesn't slip.
In my opinion, Gimp is so much more user-friendly, in regard to creating animations, like a gif for example. Sure, you can create the layers for your animation frames easier in Inkscape, but the actual layer ordering, optimization, as well as timing, are much more simple in Gimp, and you can find Animation in the Filters Menu. For Inscape, Jessyink, in the Extensions menu, gave me nothing but problems, but those may be caused by factors I'm not aware of! 🫶
Hi Nick! I'm trying this now, but when I click Envelope Deformation, it offsets all the nodes and won't... deform properly. Any clue what might be happening there?
Hi Sir, please reply or video link We download logo psd from a website, then open in Photoshop, then double click the logo to change the logo in Photoshop. How can we do that in gimp? When i double click the logo, it just show some options modal,
Hi Nick. I just paid to enrol on the Inkscape Master course, but it is no chance to open any of the files that have been sent to me. I have tried as well to contact you via email, but it is not working from this platform. Thank you.
Hey nick, do you know if there is a way to make sure that the arch is symmetrical and equal on top and bottom? Or can we use an elliptical or circular path (with large radius) for the bending instead of this slightly "pointy" curve?
Ive been taking an aspirin every other day for years because i was hearing mixed messages. But as ive been keto for more than 3 years (with 20-4 intermittent fasting) i have decided to stop taking aspirin based on the information within this video...im 55 years of age and my bloods and blood pressure are spot on. So I'm convinced that keto and fasting are a good enough measure of all round health.
I’ve been doing t-shirts and using Inkscape for over a decade. I’ve literally learned everything I know from Logos By Nick! 💯❤️👍🏽
thanks for making all these clear tutorials. it really helps us former illustrator users to migrate
Am an attorney by trade and your videos make me wish I was a graphic designer. Awesome job!
I'd been doing the text-on-a-circle method for doing basic curved text but the arching here is really what I'd want. Thanks!
Danke für deine tollen Tutorials. Sie sind immer eine große Hilfe. Schöne Grüße aus Deutschland

Thanks to You, I made a lot of cool projects - your materials are really great !
Thanks Nick, I was stuck on a design that I was doing, the arching of the text showed me how to do something similar

Hi Nick, Thanks for the video. Can you please create a tutorial about image tracing and recolor? It is also helpful for t-shirt design.
I have some tutorials on image tracing if you search my channel page for "trace bitmap" and "trace images"
thank you
Best video ever
Can you edit the text afterwards and the text follow the same effect?
No, it only works once the text has been converted to a path, so it won't be editable after that.
Thanks for video. Can you say what program you used for video.

i deserve a subscribe man ❤❤
What is the software Nick uses to showcase letters typed on the keyboard and mouse clicks? Really cool and beautiful!
It's called "KeyCastr"
After selecting Envelope Deformation and attempt the corner nodes, they are offset to the right and not on edges of the text... How do I fix this?
